Drove through NW Florida in early January. Nothing but love and thumbs up for us. A lot has changed politically since January though. The left propaganda machine has gone into overdrive.

Multiple guys threatening to kill my wife when she is driving with our child in the back. Definitely political since they mentioned Elon and Trump during their rant. Only had one guy flip me off while driving in front of me. I believe women drivers are more likely to be harassed than male drivers but I could be wrong.

I could see a woman getting worse treatment since they might think a man would kick their ass, or shoot at them. We did have a recent incident in Orlando though of a woman shooting and killing a guy that got out of his car and came to her window. It was during a road rage incident. Not in Teslas.

Actually I just looked at the case and the guy got out of the car and opened her door then started hitting her. But she started it by crashing into his car.

Did you get the video directly from the drive or through Tesla's app? The app downgrades the video, so get it directly from the drive.

Also, you can usually report dangerous driving even without a plate, if you do it immediately to the non-emergency desk of the appropriate jurisdiction. (Municipal or state). If you're not sure, you can ask 911 to transfer you.

Thanks for the tip. I used the app so maybe I’ll get the drive out. I was pretty shaken up and didn’t think straight at first. Next time I will call 911 and report them as drunk. If they get pulled over, I will stop.

Maybe do this as a 'poll' next time or are you going to give us the data if you figure it out?

Here in the Ventura County area of CA we've had good support... People wanting to take pics, touch it, we will even let them sit in it if they want (and we're not in a hurry)...

In Santa Barbara though (where I work) I have had ONE person flip me off on the freeway as they went past me... They actually HONKED so I would look over at them even!!

Well, I just gave them the THUMBS UP which I think just ticked them off even more so they floored it...

I think it's more of a MEDIA thing than anything else... Just like the 'catches on fire' and 'not built well' bits... Mine is as well built as any other vehicle I have owned!

Colorado - Awful. Lots of middle fingers and I send them back.

Utah - Nothing. I have yet to see a middle finger.
Yeah, Colorado has turned crazy in the last month. For us it has been...
* Vandalized 3 times including a death threat scribbled on it on the driver door in full view of the sentry camera but sentry didn't trigger. The vandalism happened at 3 different ski resorts, 2 of them in secure parking but the hotels didn't have cameras there to catch anything.
* Faux masterbation by someone at our truck in full view of my 15 year old daughter in the truck.
* Lots of middle fingers.
* A 300 comment thread on i70things Instagram.

Oh, and for those mentioning Subarus... I get some of the most negative reactions and some of the most positive reactions from Subaru drivers.

Is there a USB stick or SSD that works well in the cybertruck to record 24 hours or more for when sentry mode doesn't fire?

A bigger drive will simply let it retain more, but it won't make it trigger more easily.

This is what I got after some googling and a report that it worked for someone. It needs to plug into the USB-A port in the glove compartment, and comes with a USB-A to USB-C cable that's long enough to set it somewhere relatively out of the way in there.

I just saw this and thought it was appropriate for here. I guess this speaks for one CT owner in, well, CT.
Interestingly he didn't want to be identified but they showed his license plate like 5 times.
As a militant Atheist I HAAAATE the Co€xS1st Sticker ?. Wtf doee it even mean. If they coexisted, then it wouldn’t even be religions. It would just be admission of one deity.
I've always loved my coexist sticker (random online example found)!

This is the model I've been using https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08GV9M64L I've partitioned it so I have primary tesla drive, music drive, and lightshow drive. The above samsung model has been reported as working by multiple people as well.

The way the system works it records the last 60 minutes. If an event occurs it pulls that 10 minute chunk out of the last 60 minutes of video. Every follow up event is only as long as the time from the first event.
If you have something happen check the last 60 minutes in the Recent folder.

Example:
Hour: 09:30-10:30
Event: 10:10-10:20
New Hour: 09:30-10:40 (missing the event time)
With all of this if you have to piece something together its useful to understand how it does it. There are three folders RecentClips, SavedClips, SentryClips. Recent is the last hour, Saved is when you manually save, Sentry is recorded events.

On current events. I had ~80 year old pull up next to me in a SUV and gave me a thumbs up and a big grin! That was great.

I would imagine feedback directly correlates to:
- red state/areas = ?
- blue state/areas = ??

With maybe some exceptions in affluent areas like Silicon Valley and maybe parts of LA

I live in Blue State Maine and although I expect hate, I got curious inquiring talk and so far no hate I have caught.

Maine is peculiar. And Tucker Carlson although a conservative of sorts, has big connections with Maine, and did a video on the Cybertruck that took him from being a general EV skeptic to being rather impressed, as was the local guy he got for regular folk opinions, give or take some doubt about how well it would do in winter.

Vermont is peculiar too, far left (socialist Senator) yet except for Burlington, no permit needed to carry a weapon. As such, if Vermont was less of a hater state than its blueness might predict, that wouldn't surprise me.

They're both rather rural and both maybe leaning toward the idea that if something is practical for someone, that's what counts. Pragmatism over ideology?

Nothing but positive responses in Northern Indiana.
Ok I will qualify my statement, I live in one of the three Blue Counties of a red state. Does that make sense?
