From a previous post, it's apparently supposed to feel different on slippery or poor traction surfaces (rather than merely bumpy ones). So that sounds reasonable.
That's certainly one possibility I've seen mentioned when googling for
stainless steel welding discoloration
to make sure that my instinct about acid wasn't wrong (it wasn't, but the pickling solution typically used is seriously beyond consumer use).
Welding heat from the other side implies the discoloration is deep.
But acid (like the liquid Barkeeper's Friend, or CitriSurf 77) left on a few minutes longer than usual (but still thoroughly rinsed off) MIGHT provide a surface fix to the color. I suspect it wouldn't be strong enough to...
Wow. Have to wonder what's causing that. Just checked on mine (which admittedly spends a lot of time plugged in), 2%, less than the Cybertruck Owner's Club app. :-) Old iPhone 12 Pro Max. (big enough that the battery is big too) Latest version of iOS and of app.
I don't have Sentry mode...
Thanks, that's why I mentioned the sequence of events, thinking it was the sort of thing that might have happened to others. That suggests that it's harmless if not ideal, and hopefully less worrisome to anyone else here that encounters it.
I don't think I've been back to a supercharger since...
Another voice here: at I think the first supercharge after the 2025.8.4 update, I got the left and right rear disabled messages repeatedly. HVAC was fine, and I had already successfully tried raise/lower with the app.
After sitting nearly 24 hours (moving around not so fun for me any more, so I...
For the cars/SUVs, mostly it doesn't. For the Cybertruck and the Semi, it depends on the use cases, some (but certainly not all) of which could benefit from as much range as possible.
If they do, even if more expensive, IMO it would make more sense to just replace the main pack; no space lost or weight added, just more range. Like 400 miles at least, which would be more of a comfort margin on long trips.
IF media outlets are not just reporting but have commentators endorsing illegal acts, they might be liable, civilly or criminally or both.
And any protest organizers that are endorsing illegal acts or even consistently failing to warn against illegal acts, are even more putting themselves at risk.
Don't recall Musk ever working for an ex-bouncer with a mohawk and gold chains.
edit: but yes, if you meant what I suppose you might have meant, Musk was still a Democrat in 2020 when a lot of us put in our reservations, although probably not by the time our CTs were actually built.
Acetone would probably be safe on the stainless if promptly washed with water afterward. It could however damage plastics or adhesives, so keeping it only within the bounds of a stainless panel would be important.
Something like this might work, depending on the type of paint used...
A percentage needn't suck. 10% of 30 is 3, 10% of 70 is 7. In both those cases, 10% probably won't get you a ticket, except if a highway that's not an interstate passes through a small town with its own police department.
Staying sensibly in lane and speed control may well be essential, but...
Haven't had a reason to head that direction, give or take there's a German restaurant that way somewhere that I might want to try someday (but another much closer to me, that has items I like too).
A wrong left lane bias I run across is south on Alt-1 from the Arbutus supercharger. I want 695W...
