Mostly just looking for a reason to hear opinions about this thing.
I think it kind of looks like a rehashed Honda Element.
it’s obviously not a direct competitor by any means but there are people who buy cybertrucks who I think might be interested in these.

I agree it looks like a Bronco mixed with something. I don't think there is any vehicle out there that is going to sway CT buyers away, it's so unique that either you want it or don't, there really is no in between. For this, I could see someone saying do I want this or a Bronco or a Defender.

Fair. I’m just asking my friends in a Cybertruck community though.
if I wanted to ask about McDonald’s I’d say “do chickie nuggies taste better or worse in a Cybertruck?” lol

I think Toyota still uses Tesla batteries, at least they did a little over a decade ago when I worked on the concept electric Rav-4 (that they melted down) so the batteries might be solid.

Toyota software is crap. One of my projects was Entune/Enform. It was doomed to failure from the beginning.

Also, they need a new “hype guy” for their unveils. I fell asleep twice through that guys presentation.

It apparently isn't coming to the US.

Also, it's smaller than it looks like in the video (maybe the guy is 5'4"). And with those aerodynamics, if there is a pure EV, I can't image the range will be good, regardless of battery size.

What was Entune/Enform?
Toyota and Lexus’ first attempt at running Bluetooth and various apps from their cars.

We had to keep educating the guys from Japan that a server/software can do multiple things. Their mindset is that a machine (engine, transmission, etc.) can only do the one thing it’s designed for and their whole world revolves around improving that one thing.
German/Japanese automakers all have this mindset and they are still struggling to change.
I’ve never worked with old US manufacturers. They are too far behind on literally everything.

This is why I will only buy a Tesla.

def not affect cybertruck sales, the FJ is for a completely different buyer
