Strange. Have you put the USB drive into your computer to see if the Lightshow files are on the drive just not being recognized by the vehicle? Maybe Lightshow and Boombox need their own partitions?
Alright, decided to edit my original post, with 4 partitions instead of 2 in case 2 is a problem.

Thank you very much for doing the work, spending the time, and posting this. This kind of info and contribution from members is the reason I still look through this forum. No noise, no silly rants, no insults, just good fun stuff that makes owning a CT that much more interesting. Appreciated. Cheers.
Well said! ??? And thanks OP!

Not sure the issue but new builds must be different.

I could not get a partician labeled "TeslaCam" to work. After serveral interations I noticed that the drive formated by the vehicle creates a drive called "TESLADRIVE" with a sub folder called "TeslaCam". Once I did that on the new USB it worked.

Audio works fine. But I could not get a "LightShow" to show any of the lightshow files.

Cybertruck new USB Flash Drive Install and Formatting instructions:

Purpose - For a much larger capacity multipurpose USB drive, I used a Samsung SSD T7 2TB. It will hold a ton more Sentry and Dashcam footage than the stock USB flash drive that came with the truck, located in the back of the glovebox USB-A port.

Some particular things need to be done or it won’t function properly:

New drive must be formatted in exFat with four partitions:

Plug new USB drive into your personal computer, then type ā€œCreateā€ in search bar at bottom of Windows computer (if Mac there’s another way I’m not privy too but a quick google search should get you there), select ā€œCreate and Format Hard Drive Partitions,ā€ right click the USB drive and choose ā€œDelete Volume.ā€ It will then read Unallocated. Then create four partitions (case sensitive) -TeslaCam, LightShow, Boombox, and Audio. In the LightShow partition place a folder named Lightshow. In the Boombox partition place a folder named Boombox. In the Audio partition you can place mp3 music files, wav files, etc. These can be played in the truck's media player.

For instructions on adding LightShow files, this is a good source, and also confirms the above:
Using one USB drive for Custom Light Shows, Boombox, Lock Sounds and Tesla Cam - Your Personal Ninja (ustech.ninja)

If you want a custom lock sound for the external speaker, find a file that is in .wav format, some good ones here- Popular Tesla Custom Lock Sounds & Chimes - Video Games, Cartoons, TV Shows, Movies and Retro / 90's , (notateslaapp.com) , change its name to LockChime and place the file in the Audio partition (not within a subfolder). Then BEFORE plugging USB into truck, open Toybox, change source of LockChime to anything OTHER than USB. Then plug in USB Drive in truck (Must plug into USB-A drive in back of glovebox) and select USB as LockChime source on screen.

Good to go! Enjoy. Took me three hours to figure the above out, hopefully saves you some time.
What size are these 4 particians, equal 500gbs x4 or 1tb, 500gb and 2 250gbs?

Good day Cyber Bros. Has anyone figured out how to get the off-road light bar and any flood lights in on the light show action? I have my up invincible fog lights connected to the accessory cable in the frunk and the OEM off road light bar connected to the roof accessory. 007 light show is amazing! Thanks in advance.

Does the average dash cam/sentry user need this upgrade? I got the alert that my OEM drive was full just prior to one year.l of ownership. Simple button push to reset it all.

Do any of you all use a dedicated dashcam that’s not the Tesla cam?

I’ve been toying with the idea of putting something wide angle up there just to cover the small blind spots sentry mode has. Haven’t come across any that have wowed me yet.

So I was given that DC-22 by Lamtto in one of the contests I won, I was originally going to use it in the CT, but felt its kinda redundant in a Tesla, so I installed this in my wife's Lincoln. In all honesty, I was not a big fan of the product. I feel like there are better products out there that either do the same job or better and Telsas native cams are superior. This one does have 2 cameras - front facing and cabin facing with sound recording if that's what you're looking for?

What I didn't like about It is that it is powered by the OBD port on the truck, which is kinda unnecessary in todays age where most aftermarket products are fine with a USB plug. Are you looking for something with an app or just an ordinary camera? If you're into the app thing the camera does have a lot of features sentry mode offers but they are locked behind the app that requires a service plan to use which I believe is $20 a month. Not doing that, sorry. It has a micro SD card you can remove to check footage. Another thing to note, if you aren't going to use the app then this camera isn't for you. There's no screen and It would constantly say ready for pairing every 20 seconds with no way to turn it off unless you use the privacy mode - which renders the cabin camera and microphone useless. It's super annoying, but if you just needed a basic front camera it'll do the job.

If you're into the whole wireless monitoring thing it might be worth looking into. It had a lot of cool features, I just don't want another subscription to use them.
