I really wish there was a drop in tool chest aftermarket solution for the frunk. ChatGPT image for visual. I've tried a few options, even looking and measuring existing tool chests from craftsman, dewalt and milwaukee just to see if they fit. My hope was to just cut off the top storage and use the drawers... I have yet to find a solution. I thought at least one of the SK Tool stackable storage chests would fit, but the curve on the front of the frunk got in the way.

Some folks have listed great options for Milwaukee packout solutions using the bed and molle panels, but too often that would get in the way of the equipment I load and unload from the bed. And honestly, I currently have a tool bag and welder in the fronk right now and it's great to grab tools without having to clime in my bed.

Has anyone come across any good tool chest solutions for the frunk?

Can’t for the life of me remember where I saw it but it was a small business that makes a little drawer setup with a molle panel top.
They wanted I think $2700 for it though.

Dang, ya that's a bit pricey... Honestly, with how great the truck has been I'm probably gonna stick with it for at least 10 years. So if there were a custom option I'd be willing to pay up to $1200 for something.

Chat gpt is using some very old images for that truck. No windshield wiper, and look at those door handles. But seriously the tool box would have to be very shallow to fit in there like that, plus the extra room for the handles and rail system. The depth of each drawer would be nearly unusable, at least for tools.

That's a really smart use for the frunk.
It's hard to believe no vendor has made a tool box to fit here yet. Perhaps when there are another 100,000+ more CT's driving around the volume will justify building it.

I haven't seen an AI Cybertruck photo in existence that doesn't have the door handles

That's what I thought, but I threw my SK Storage box in there which has plenty of access for drills and wrenches. It was a dang near perfect fit minus too high a few inches on the front. If I could get two similar sized ones side by side I'd be set.

Ai still thinks CT is vaporware! I like the tool drawer idea — probably a very niche market pricing will be $$$$

The kitchen product they have on there looks pretty cool but not much detail. Looking at the drawer prices though, one can be forgiven for extrapolating that at about 30% of the cost of a Cybertruck.
