So, question…CT has 4-wheel steering and AWD. Is there a reason to rotate tires then?

Yes. The alignment of each wheel can be slightly different so rotations should help them wear evenly. I rotate mine every 5k miles. I’m a former Toyota guy so the 5k rotation is all I know. It’s easier to remember, unlike the 6200 miles Tesla recommends.

I recommend rotating them or at least checking them every 5-6k miles. I am finding on the AWD the rear seem to go a little faster.

I do 5K also. Because why not? Easy enough to do yourself, especially if you rotate in a spare.

Its a car, so yes it makes sense. Wear is almost always uneven and rotating the tires helps.

This is an excellent reason to get a spare in my opinion. I’ve had lots of opportunities to get a core one but I’m waiting on a decently priced AT so I can incorporate it into the schedule.

Do you have cybers or cores? I forget now. Every time I see your truck I’m looking for the next Bluey Easter egg you’ve added.

I have cybers. Everyone always seems to be selling cores where I live. Teslas spare seems overpriced to me especially since I own all the other stuff I need from that box thing.
Cool cheapie cover though. Has a triangle on it and a seatbelt.

Yeah. If they’re like me they got the truck with cores seeing a $3,000 cyber wheel and tire package in the shop and a $3,500 upcharge for cybers when ordering. Saving $500 and having 4 extra wheels sounded like a no brainer. My latest venture finally wore out my Pirellis so I have cybers and duratracks mounted now. I’m keeping my cores around for drag strip use and taking the cybers to discount tire for future new tires.

I didn’t know this was the case. Both my FS came with Cybers already on them. That’s absolutely a no brainer.
