The real 2025.26 Update (w/ Grok) Thread

[Loudness]

Grok seems intriguing, and keeps the kids entertained. Does anyone know the benefit of creating an account and signing in? Does it have better memory/recall if signed in?

When you sign in, you inherit the higher rate limits of your paid Grok/Supergrok account and any persistent memory Grok knows about you from prior interactions.

But the biggest benefit is that any conversations you have with Grok in-vehicle show up in your Grok account history so you can review them later at any time, and you can even pick them up and continue them on your phone or desktop whenever you like. Full transcripts!

That sounds worth it. Thanks for the info!

Grok, or Ava, has not gotten one question right. Directions, locations, history... Anything. All completely wrong.

But it’s said with such confidence. I worry about our kids. Honestly.
