That Raptor would be gone in seconds if it were me. :) Cybertruck is IT.

I have a 2022 raptor, 37 package, with the blue leather interior package. 27k miles. After a week and a half of ownership with the cyber truck, I am seriously considering selling it. The drive is definitely better. It is easier to drive and the suspension is so far better going over bumps and cracks in the road. Nothing lost in the rear seat, which I am so happy about because my family loves it back there. Now they’ve got huge 9.1 inch screen they can watch Netflix on for road trips.

All that to say, all the off-roading I’ve done w the Raptor now brings me to the one unexperienced unknown, which is needing to take the cyber truck off road in Baja mode. I’m not in a rush to do it to be honest, because I am enjoying it so much at this point without needing to wash it and the in town drive. I am not a major off roader, but I have sent the raptor on a few 60 foot plus jumps and I will say if the cyber truck can do that, that would be amazing too. Tough decision. She’s detailed and ready to go. I just have to commit to selling it. So hard!

I really didn’t expect Tesla would deliver such an amazing truck.

I agree, I had a TRX in between my 2020 and 2022 Raptor ….. it’s not even close in comparison. Granite my trucks saw time Off Road then they did on pavement, which is what most TRX owners care about.

Had a 2020 Raptor and sold it then bought a 2022 37 package and just recently sold it (thinking my CT was just around the corner) but it Looks like it will be longer than expected so I might pull the trigger on an R or Bronco Raptor to hold me over .

I dont plan to off road or beat up my Cyberbeast like I’ve done all my Raptors and that’s the part I will miss but I feel ( like all who have driven/owned both) that the CT will be the better daily
I have owned several Broncos including a Raptor and one design flaw is that the doors dig into the paint when the body flexes on very rough terrain. I haven’t yet tested the CT off road but I imagine it will be stiffer and there is no paint to chip. Jeep understands this and uses a bunch of foam and gaskets so you don’t chip your paint but Ford hasn’t quite figured it out yet. I don’t think you will be too impressed with the Bronco Raptor off road on smoother stuff compared to the CT but the 37s combined with the beefy frame and suspension design will allow you to do burlier stuff off road without worrying too much about breaking things. The Baja video showed the CT hitting its nose on a dip and that cracked the windshield, and Heavy D also broke the car on a dip, etc. Bronco Raptor will not bottom out as easily.

Sold my 2018 Raptor, been a truck guy for years, just recently sold my 2024 Ford F350HO once I got the configuration email. Drove a Cyberbeast a few months back, waiting for my own now.

A quick edit of my Raptor Assault day back in 2018.

I’ve been going back and forth about getting a Raptor or Raptor R vs waiting for the Cyberbeast. This definitely helps give me some patience. I’m about 500k on the list and live in New England…. So it will be a while.

Sell it! It’s clear that the Cybertruck is better than any F-150! You as a current Raptor owner are having these thought, that means it’s time to sell. Plus Raptors are a dime a dozen with a boring design unlike the CT with its iconic beautiful design.

I’m sure the family is happier in the back seat unlike the cheap quality F-150

I Didn't plan on getting rid of my 3500HD High Country but it hasn't moved since I had my CT delivered. Plan to keep it and my Arctic Fox camper, but my wife suggested last night after seeing a CT pulling an Airstream that we will never use the camper anymore lets get a trailer ;>0
So Airstream Basecamp is on the let's go look list...
Funny story @ Raptor.. guy in a Raptor pulled up next to me at a light the other day, rolled down his window and asked me if I wanted to swap. LOL

My biggest deterrent from rushing to sell it, is how convenient my Raptor is for hauling landscape debris from my house to the dump. Not quite sure I can hit the CT bed liner with that type of work. It’s just too nice all brand new.

Delivery was 4/29 but now they moved it to 5/1 (Weds). I got the VIN maybe 4/22 on a conversion from reservation to order 2/22. This is Foundation AWD.

One thing I was worried about with the CT was the rear seat room so it’s good to hear that it’s about the same as the Raptor. Both my kids are bigger ( 17yr old is 6’5 and 12yr old is 6’0) so that was definitely gonna play a factor in if I kept the CT or not.
I’m 6’5” and will let you know how I feel when I pick mine up this afternoon ?

Dang… you gave up the F350HO? I have a 23 F350HO… I LOVE that engine. They will have to pry that truck from my cold dead hands. I will keep it along side the CT… just to handle the big stuff and any long hauls I need to take. Those trucks hold thier value… I got mine for 92K because of XPlan, incentives, etc. KBB still shows it at 100k. I’m guessing you did well on selling your 24.

The dealer wouldn't accept XPlan I would assume due to it being just before end of year. I don't tow anything heavy, my Ford Edge or Winnebago Ekko can tow what needs to be towed. If I was pulling a 5th wheel or something heavy I would've kept it. Lost a little but gained taking advantage of Section 179 tax deduction that the CT will be replacing once received.
