Amazing product, did I miss on how to close the wire cover once finished with the install?
was watching for the same. here's the last image on the install video.

the original "pop hatch" does not appear to seal either, so maybe not an issue if the harness is properly connected with solder and included heat shrink

The plastic hatch door will not close with the light bar installed. But if you disconnect the light bar, it closes. Keep in mind, those little plastic hatch doors are not watertight or anything special. Our connector kit is water tight.

I wonder how the extra wind resistance will impact range?

Understood, not the cheapest light bar ever, but we are packing in value and a quality product. Keep in mind this kit includes 300 series stainless steel brackets (FYI the Tesla light bar attaches with double sided tape - there are no brackets) and we also include a quick disconnect structure & hardware, all which have some costs to cover. The light bar is made using 50x Osram LEDs, spec'd for 48v - this is not cheapo stuff. Thanks again!
Curious how the light bar will handle ice and snow build up when sitting a few days in a storm...
I think the price point is really fair if it can handle the ice elements well.

Light bars are in stock and shipping!

Dropped our install video today

Thank you for sharing this as I was not going to make the purchase until I saw this video.
Purchased and can’t wait to install with a friend before off roading in Colorado in a few weeks. (Plus, the ditch lights - when they arrive.)

Incorrect on double sided tape see link below

Also, the Tesla light bar will be integrated into the lighting system better than having to use the roof outlet toggle. Kudos for using native 48v lighting.

It was originally double sided tape, Telsa updated to urethane (aka glue). So it's glued on....

As for using it, off-road auxiliary LED light bars are not legal for street use, so do not expect it to 'work' with the headlights.

Zero impact to range, simply because we designed it to be quickly disconnected and stored in the bed of the truck. So when you're on-road, you can easily remove it. Here is a photo of the patent-pending T Sportline quick disconnect light bar bracket setup -

No problem at all (ice and snow). It will quickly melt any build-up.

After installing the TSportline LED bar with a friend’s help, we noticed a few things:
1) Not a single set of instructions arrive with the box. This should be a requirement…(In my opinion, YouTube video doesn’t replace actual instructions in the box. Especially there there was nothing in the box with a link for a YouTube video.)
2) No direction on how to secure the wiring hardware to look clean / professional. . I am currently using a purchased black zip tie.
3) My LED bar kit is missing the jam nuts. (I emailed ā€˜customer service’ on Sunday afternoon 8/4 but no response as of Wednesday evening 8/7.) Hello?

Otherwise, I’m happy so far. (I won’t be off roading again until mid September, sadly.) It turns on, stays on so far. I haven’t washed the truck yet after install. It is a concern of mine.

It’d be nice if you added a supplemental video detailing the the actual mounting to the mounting connections on the top of the CT. (The current video isn’t detailed enough.) And also add details to how to secure the wiring to appear professional. Without that instruction. . My wiring harness is held on by a zip tie . . Not the best look.
