I'd like to spend a day or so and tap "FSD" and just see where it takes me. I'd like to be able to use the blinker to "nudge" FSD in one direction or another.

Really enjoying having 14.2 drive me everywhere. That said I have a couple items bothering me in my CT. I say in mine because from reading other people's feedback, other people have totally different issues and I do not ever experience their issues.

1) Speeds are inconsistent and many times the profile does nothing to impact the driving. Unlike it seems most other people, my truck tends to drive slowly (in other words, the speed limit, which for me is slow). I am not looking for massive change here, but it used to be that standard was consistently 5mph above speed limit and hurry was 10. that was perfect because I could just pick between the 2 depending on the road. Now unless I nudge it faster, even with clear roads and good driving conditions, my truck is driving miss daisy.

2) I drive through areas that have construction going on. My truck is pulling over too often for trucks that have their lights on. that includes when they are coming towards me from the front or behind. Obviously that behavior is dangerous when other drivers are around because no one else slows down / moves over for a construction vehicle that is just driving around. Hopefully FSD can learn the difference between a construction vehicle and police car / ambulance.

3) The routing is so odd and inconsistent. The CT will go different ways to work all the time and ignore the routing guidance. Its not trying to avoid traffic or go somehow more efficiently. Sometimes it will pick routes that backtrack and totally add time to the trip / not to mention less safe than the direct route (that's already picked by the navigation). 95% of the time its fine, but other times it makes zero and I have to take over.

4) I have a no turn on red right by my house that it insists on trying to go through. I report it every time. The sign is clear as day... I know FSD supposedly can't read, but it should be able to see this one, since its the standard no turn on red sign that is used everywhere.

It is great - most of the time - for me. But I agree with the inconsistent speed. Sometime the routing is crazy and heads in the opposite direction of where it should go. This is true in my local area. Drove a rental for 4 days in San Francisco and it never made a mistake. I only helped it park.

They difference between today and a year ago is incredible. I actually feel comfortable using it 90% of the time. I would also like to see the ability to stay in the right lane or nudge it in a different direction. The issues I have experiences that need to be solved:

1. A downtown near me has old fashion light post. The lights are slightly yellow colored. FSD see these as traffic signals that are yellow and sometimes will slam the brakes on. Luckily, I have not had a rear end collision.
2. I admit it is better at seeing pedestrians entering crosswalks than I am. However, it needs to do a better job at determining a pedestrian's intent. For example, a pedestrian was about 3 ft from the curb and not facing the street. they then turned to face the crosswalk and FSD slammed on the brakes. Luckily no one slammed into the rear.

Agree with all this adding in it waits to long to get over to turn, and I frequently have it get over to the left lane when we have a half a mile or less till we turn and then it tries to get back over.

It's overly cautious when it turns. If there are 5+ car lengths, you need to turn not wait for the one car to pass you before you turn. Been honked at several times for this and I have just started to accelerate through it and leave report.

The biggest issue I have is when it pulls into the garage it never goes into park, as soon as I end route FSD turns back on and off we go! Where you ask? No idea I have let it go f a few minutes but I have better things to do then let it wonder off with no route set. I figure its going somewhere I have been recently. Bug reported this as well and tweeted all the important Tesla folks this one.

Its much better but its still not where I believe it should be, always feels like 2 steps forward 1 step back.

It is getting better, but far from "take a nap" good.
