Dang. Mine just started doing the 24 amp charge thing. Thought it could be the adapter, but after reading this probably some inverter thing. I may do nothing because I ah e an order in for a new CT that supposedly will net me 5k and FSD traded on and 1 year supercharging for a 79k VIN. Trading in a 5k VIN FS AWD with 34k miles. Still waiting on the final trade confirmation, so if they are substantially lower than the emailed offer I guess I’ll get this fixed and cancel the order.

If it’s under warranty, you know for sure it will be covered. FSD is not transferable from foundation series— is it?

Today was the first time charging my CT at home and it’s refusing to charge at 48a. In the charging settings I have it set to 48a but once I plug in it automatically drops and charges at 24a.

Anybody had this issue? Could it be beac it’s the first charge? I have a model Y and never had this issue. I’ve tried everything I could to troubleshoot. TIA

I that I’m the only one with the problem. I have wall chargers in two houses, one is set to charge 32A and one 48A. Never had the problem for years with other models but cybertruck couple months ago will charge only 24A
For over one year never had any problem until couple months ago.
Looks like a time to talk to the Tesla service.

Yeah PCS unit. They replaced mine but they screwed something up in the process. Complete failure 3 days later and after replacing HV battery now still problems. Out of service for 16 days now with a 50 day total. Cyberbeast loaner is awesome. Lemon law buyout incoming, but I’m hoping they offer a beast as a swap. With the luxe package, I’d take it!

Mine's now doing the same thing. Got a service center appointment in a week or so.
