My husband and I were chatting the other day about the version of truck Elon might drive. It can't just be a standard Beast.
I feel like he has to have a quad motor, probably with extra goodies like higher top speed. Has there ever been any mention of the version he gets to drive?

I don’t know if he actually owns one lol he basically has a secret service detail driving him around when he’s out and about. If he does have one, I could easily find out his VIN but, you know, I could get fired for misuse of LE databases and whatnot, so I’m not going to lol

I second this. I doubt very seriously he drives in public spaces anymore due to the extreme risk.

I doubt he drives much anymore. He used to drive around the prototype all the time in 2019-2020 but the worlds changed a lot since then.. especially for him

If you put some custom run flats or solid rubber, the CT is probably the safest production vehicle around barring ā€œStagecoachā€.

When he was showing off the fleet to Trump, he mentioned that his daily driver was a plaid Model S. Not sure how true that is, but it was part of the ā€œpromoā€ for Tesla during the video they released between the two of them

No, he doesn't seem to be driven by "look at me" like so many others!

He’s pretty adamant about not owning things at all - no homes or vehicles. Of course he has access to whatever Tesla has on offer, but as noted above, likely driven everywhere by guys packing serious interventions.

Hmmm, I would imagine people of Elon's wealth and fame would probably never own/register vehicles in their own name but under shell companies/trusts/LLCs.? Years ago I got curious to see who owned the units in my condo building and I was surprised to find that a majority of the apartment units are owned by various LLCs and Trusts with all kinds of names without any personal names attached to them. Or they may have some security rep as a registered owner and he gets to drive whatever he wants from his 'fleet' if he has one...though at that level of where he's at the entire Tesla fleet and Tesla R&D garage are his choosing lol.

But like others said, he probably rarely drives out in public himself due to extreme risk and there's an army of security that goes with him.
