Here’s the hate I got: an article written about my truck.
It’s so ridiculous that he said I honked and swerved around a cyclist and sped off into an alley. Such an obvious lie. Designed to make cybertruck drivers look like assholes?

my kids and I put the vinyl stickers on with our sticker machine at home.

Wow, the comments on the article even if you believe in what they do they still attack you because you have a Tesla vehicle. People with the same beliefs (perceived or actual) attacking their allies.

Had 2 thumbs up yesterday

a guy in a c8 corvette pulled up at a light and asked me to roll window down, thought he was going to say something bad but just complemented the truck
Corvette owners are used to getting ragged on so they understand the pain. I had a C6 and a C7 so yea.

However highway 1 in Y performance got the couple months ago and lots of middle fingers in SF in February.
Porsche drivers will flash lights to other Porsches as a in the club sign.

When I got to my gym this morning, a car pulls up behind me (who was also driving next to me trying to get my attention for a few minutes) and this dude calls me pathetic for giving a homeless guy a dollar. This was literally the only cash I had in my wallet, and the only helpful thing I could give at the time, but whatever. Anyway, in total confusion I just called him pathetic back because I was not prepared for this dumb moment. Then he drives off. Same guy comes back to the gym 20 minutes later in a different vehicle and peeks inside the gym window. Before leaving, he pulls up to the rear of the truck and makes rude gestures into my camera, takes a pic of my plate, and drives off. BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! He then calls the gym and leaves a voicemail for the gym owners saying the following:

"Your client in the black Tesla truck. I would stop working with him as a client unless you guys want to like... you know? Not, not a fun time working with someone who's such a pathetic, you know, piece of s***. You know driving that expensive Tesla giving a homeless person a dollar. I'm not going to let go of this. You guys will see me in the future."

I got both his cars license plates, pics of his face, recordings of everything from my truck, and his voicemail, and filed a police report. While I'm tempted to share more, I think social media can get a bit too extremely out of hand. So out of some respect for this idiot's privacy?, I'm not going to share his face or plates or specifics. Just with the police.

He will not stop me from giving to the homeless! ? wtf. seriously. w. t. f. go the f away.

So how did he know you gave a dollar? And why was he so mad? Very confusing. But I am all for you posting his pic!

He pulled up next to me on the right while I was giving the homeless guy a dollar driver side, and he saw through my windows then he followed me (considering darker tints now). I recorded him (truck cam) saying something to the homeless guy, so he might have asked him what I have him, but it didn't look like the homeless guy responded.

Why mad? Who knows. I'll consider posting pics if he decides to continue his bizarre crusade against my one dollar charity.

Sounds like he was planning to follow you anyways and act like an ass and the dollar thing just gave him more ammo. Or he was just angry at the Cybertruck and that gave him some crazy reason. People sure are nuts.

Shreveport, LA There are only 7 Cybertrucks in our whole city, so it's still a novelty! I have not detected ANY negative reactions in the 9 months of ownership.
If I drive past an elementary school at the beginning or end of their day, I feel like I'm in a parade!
There are also old guys asking what IS that? (Be advised that I am 78, so when I say old....)

The thread comes back to life!!!

Colorado (Denver) here. Obviously, Feb/March 2025 was rough. A bazillion blue-haired people gave me the finger and/or verbally accosted me. The majority of them were typically at a bus stop. So, I can't be sure if it was a class thing or a liberal thing. Of course, there may be a correlation between those groups.

Fast forward to the Minneapolis situation and in the last 3 weeks there has been a flare-up of middle fingers. It has been almost exclusively obese white blue-haired women. My favorites have been the people driving Volkswagens who have given me the finger. Classic and oblivious.

That said, I still get a lot of love. Mine is wrapped and I get a lot of compliments. I love showing it to people; who still ask about it. The kids still love it. I understand that it will never be a vehicle that appeals to the masses. I'm ok with that. It is far and away the best vehicle I've ever owned. There is an emotional tax paid to own one. I have decided that I'm willing to pay it. Almost nobody comes back to say, "you were right". I can live with that. I just keep being driven around in the best vehicle on the road.

This was the cheapest way to get a chauffer for sure, I'm good. :)

The chauffer is still learning in some cases, but I'm happy with it.

I have seen some fingers lately as the moron season is full on at the moment - like you said. But none of them paid for my CT, so they never bothered me.

20% Bad lots of middle fingers. driving down some roads and get the finger, I turn around and confront them and they run like little bitches. I have even slowed down and got behind them and followed them in their cars, and they take off like again little bitches. All good when they don't think somebody won't get in their face.
But when i pass kids and schools they are all waving. Many times in a parking lot i see the kids with parents starring and ask the parents if they mind if i let them sit in. Many parents take pictures of them in it. I always have some candy in my truck for my grandkids, so i give them some. Get great reactions. Its just the lowering in life that douche bags.

I do conceal carry. Retired Marine and Retired LE.
So yes i know how to protect and use it.

Little kids reactions are the best... Excited and curious... WA not a good state for CT's to many Cra cra Libs. In AZ not so bad. Open Carry. Tinted windows... The Trucks are so worth it..... chasing and confronting morons is useless - Funny how they loved Elon and then BOOM hated him and showed its colors Take care..
