Black Americans & Cybertruck?

Is it just me? I’m in Atlanta. I’ve had my CT for 7 months now, but in last two months or so I’ve frequently had passing Black Atlantans ask me to look in my truck or ask questions about it. I’m always glad to oblige if it’s not too inconvenient. This didn’t happen in my first 5 months of ownership, though I did get plenty of waves and smiles from all kinds of folk, and a few rude reactions. And also looks of astonishment from kids! Maybe some popular black figure recently ‘came out’ as a CT owner?

Racial generalizations are frowned upon by many, but I'll make one here and say that overall black dudes are way more likely to embrace bold styling than white dudes, who have a much bigger paranoia about fitting in or not standing out. And Cybertrucks are bold, dude.

Ok, the cats out of the bag. I’ve tried keeping it a secret but I might as well come out. I’m one of the popular black folk you’re referencing. . Well at least in my dreams I am! Haha
