The first deliveries of new Tesla vehicles that drive themselves to customers' homes are expected to start soon. I want to suggest that these self-driving vehicles leave the factory with a bust of Elon behind the wheel. Or Optimus.

But how will they charge if the destination is more than 200+ miles away?

They should navigate to a Supercharger, and announce through the speaker a $10 credit to anyone that will plug it in

I think this is going to have to be a thing anyway. A way to pay people to plug in a Tesla. I hope that someday, I’ll be able to fly to a destination, then have my truck show up a few days later own its own. I assume I could “tip” people at super chargers for plugging it in for me.

Yeah. But if the technology is anything like our current wireless charging pads or the tesla shop wirelessly charging battery…that’s a LONG way off.

I still want A.S.S. on my CT!!
I am looking forward to this experience!! My Beast was the first Tesla and EV I touched, sat in, and drove. My brain is so overwhelmed with the technology. Summon is just mind blowing!!!

I like the idea of the car showing up with Optimus. He comes to your door, lets you know your car is parked out front and that he’s here for a free 30 day trial. “How about I start by cutting your lawn, washing your windows and cleaning your floors… then you can let me know what you’d like for dinner.”

If you don't keep him, he can go door to door until he finds a home.
