I don't think anyone celebrates the demise of any company.

Not from their own making, Tesla supporters have endured the FUD for a long time, turning it into a payback situation.

To begrudge our attitude is like the bully claiming to be the victim.

begrudging only hypocrisy of principles

because to use your analogy, the “bully” is Jalopnik, and you cry when he’s beating you, but cheer when he’s beating someone else

Hypocrisy is the homage vice pays to virtue

The lesson is:

Don't pay attention to stock price. Those guys are idiots in the short term.

Same lesson Tesla learned.

Some idiots don't have the capacity to learn. Or maybe that's why they are idiots?

Either way, only the intelligent, and those capable of change, survive.

Of all the manufacturers, Tesla excels in manufacturing change.

That article is hilarious... does that person even understand stocks, or how many lightnings the company sells?

1> falling stock prices cost the company NOTHING unless it is selling stocks to raise funds.. which is not something most mature companies do... it cost the stock HOLDERS

2> ford sold 4.2 MILLION cars last year... the volume of lightning sells is NOT going to affect their profit at all.. and in all probability since the future of ford electric vehicles is T3 NOT lightning i doubt the lightning is affecting stock prices...

OTOH

cybertruck IS coming... f 150 are what half of fords overall sales... hmmm now THAT might just affect fords stock prices.

It costs the stock HOLDERS nothing as well. Unless you are skittish and sell. Same rules of stock value apply to both the company and the stock holder.

And if you are either wise or bullish, then it actually makes you money. You BUY!
