Well I reached 50k today. Warranty is gone and now I feel like I'm in the Starship heading to Mars, alone and with no idea when something will fail. It's ok though. This truck has been more reliable than any truck I've owned.

Driving 100 plus miles a day for work abusing it and using every feature, carrying 1000lbs of equipment every day to perform environmental compliance testing, construction, towing, camping, off roading. By now my Chevy, GMC, Fords that I've owned needed major repair, transmissions were the worst and cost of driving each day, wow. That sucked compared to the cost of this vehicle.

With my 2 Jackery 2000 plus explorer solar generators and 1600 watts of solar panels, remote adventures are without battery anxiety while camping remote for days on end. No sound, no fuel no cost, just 240v, 28amps cramming electrons into the truck. It has been an exciting, fun and politically negative charged adventure. Those people just suck. It was like being around a bunch of monkeys who have one feeling, Hate. Now that has blown over a bit I'm back to just enjoying my daily drive to work along the coast, central valley, Sierra Nevada while FSD takes over there's just relaxation.

There's so much more to say but someone else has already said it.

Can you explain this setup? How are you carrying this much solar?

I have 8 200w panels from Jackery that I have in 2 carrying cases. Compact, saves space. 2 2000w Jackery Explorer Plus connected together giving me 240v at 38 amp. Great products.

Finally, a no-bull**** explanation of how to overland with a Cybertruck. Your solar setup is the first answer I’ve seen that’s honest and practical. Everyone else just evaded my questions.

Thank you and excellent work. I too abuse my Cybertruck beyond what other trucks can handle. Even other EV trucks can’t tolerate the physical challenges. The stainless steel body relieves all of my stress from dents, dings and plain old rough contact.

@Cybertruck 1974 what are your thoughts on tires. I believe you’ve gone through a set or two and are using ATs?
I ran through the originals at 30k. Swapped out for the BFGs K03s and have been great! I've put on 20k miles on these and have only lost 1mm tread. These are guaranteed 55k to 75k miles

Great set up!! What cable did you use to link the two units together? Thanks!

This is awesome. Without doing the math myself, how many miles/% will these two add to the CT battery (not including recharge from the solar panels)? Would love something like this for our camping/overlanding.

I used the Jackery adapter that is specific to the plugs on back of 2000 Plus Explorers
