What are the harmonics extension?

Do you think 37s would rub in the high setting?

Volk TE37 LARGE P.C.D. PROGRESSIVE II
18x9 +0 Bronze / 6x139
BFG KM3 Mud Terrain 35x12.5

Removed the harmonics extension in the front two wheels to make 18” wheels fit. Other than that, no modifications required.

Additionally, just so that everyone is aware, these wheels have a load rating of 2100lbs per wheel, 8400lbs total.

This specific application works for me because I don’t intend on towing or stowing heavy cargo. This is a simplistic street overland/baja truck, which I will continue to lighten over time.

I do have a pair of 20x9.5” Rays with the same specifications that have a 2600lb load rating for more heavier applications that I may keep to swap when necessary.

No rubbing, no issues with turning radius. The truck doesn’t feel any heavier thanks to the steer by wire system.

Overall, very happy with the stance! There’s room for wider @Unpluggedperformance CF fenders if necessary. YEEHAW

How does it drive? Do you notice a big difference. Is it still smooth?
Yes! Surprisingly the car is still smooth. Like any other truck, you turn it into an offroad vehicle and you get all kinds of road/wind noise but to my surprise, the cybertruck stays smooth and quiet! The road noise isn’t as bad as you’d think with the mud terrains. I absolutely love the setup.

It’s a piece that you have to screw off. No one really knows what it’s for (lol) but it’s the only way to make 18s fit. I am going to test my 20” rays and 37” tires. It looks like it would work, especially with this aggressive offset.

Looks soooo good. The wider stance is what the Cybertruck is missing. What do you report with speed and your range? How much hit to range are you taking % wise compared to a normal day with the stock tires? Any loss of quick speed when gunning it? Louder at all on freeways? Also your tire is rated for max 100mph. If you exceed that at times what could happen?

Minimal range lost! I still got 300 miles to a charge and that’s good enough for me! Speed is still there, though I’d report a 5-10% loss in take off speed. I also don’t exceed 90 mph, don’t really have a need to lol.

@Earthxploration, can you share any more pictures? Looks amazing!

The latest theory is the bolt on piece is for crash behavior. Pretty good foresight to ensure it can be unbolted to allow for smaller wheels to be used.
Ohhh wow, interesting!

Thanks mate!

The offset is both a preference and requirement to clear the lower arm, especially for running wider tires. The stock tires only give 2-3mm of spacing.

I may add carbon fiber fenders down the road.

These wheels are rated at 8400lbs. I don’t plan to tow or stow any heavy cargo, so it’s viable for my needs. But, you’re right, if someone were to tow or haul heavy cargo, this won’t work.

I actually have the same wheels in 20” that have a 10,400 lb load rating, which I may eventually mount with 37” tires lol.
Think this is the winning offset for me (especially if needed). saw another post with the same and really like how the tires pop out just a bit from the fenders. appreciate you posting!

Finally some nice looking wheels.

Put the 20’s on!

I think the MSpec would look better, also these seems to be out of spec due to the CT weight. Unless I am wrong to figure out the proper load rating of wheels don’t you take the rear axle weight and divide by two?

Just asking so we can get a better understanding of proper wheel load rating, at 2100 depending on the CT it would be underrated. Truck is beautiful…. Thanks!

@Earthxploration... That's looks perfect. I'm a huge KM3 fan.

What's the backspacing on those wheels?

Do you have a spec sheet you can share on those? It would be good starting information for people searching for wheels from other makers that fit.

Honestly, I was afraid it was going to be too much but the offset is very fitting for the truck. Glad you like it!
