Happy Friday, Cyber guys and gals!

Wanted to officially launch our CYBERTRUCKco Heavy-Duty Aluminum Rear Bumper to the forum! Been month in the making and abuse to get it finally out to market, and worth the wait!

Engineered for extreme durability and sleek performance, the CYBERTRUCKco Heavy Duty Aluminum Offroad Rear Bumper is built to handle the toughest terrains. Crafted from high-grade lightweight aluminum, it offers maximum protection without weighing you down. With a rugged, trail-ready design and precision fit for your Cybertruck, this bumper is the perfect upgrade for serious off-road enthusiasts.

To amplify to the offroad worthiness, our Heavy-Duty Rear Offroad bumper Includes Baja Designs S2 reverse lights that give as much light as the factory head lights. On the underside there are 2x optional mounting locations to add 2 more S2 rock lights if you need more light on the ground. Rear bumper reuses OEM wiring harness and marker lights, relocating the sensors and electronics to be shielded from damage. All electronics are hard mounted, we do not use zip ties.

Optional Swingaway arms gove the ability to add a spare tie on the right and left sides and/or MOLLE plates. The rear swing away arm has 2 locks to ensure the tire does not come loose in extreme conditions. The locks allow 3x open points for maximum utility and will not hit the side of the truck when parked on a hill.

Optional Rear Quarter panel protection plates and Folding table option coming soon!

Not to toot our own horn, but.... Compare to the competition and you'll find we are; lighter, more cost effective, will not ever rust, have the best departure angle improvement and all MADE IN THE USA!

Features:
  • Dramatically increase rear departure angle!
    • 21.5" vs 16" stock rear bumper at lowest point on bumper
    • 27" vs 23" stock bumper at back end of rear bumper

I think this looks amazing. I’m assuming the heavy duty welds are just the prototype version because I don’t see the same look on the renders. I kinda like the Road Warrior look. Should be an option.

After helping a friend design and prototype Stainless Steel Sail Panels and Tailgate Cap I can better appreciate the effort that goes into making anything.

You are going to need a much better welder for the production version
I’m waiting for the T-sportline rear bumper they said they’re working on. They’re stuff has zero visible weld lines.

I Like it a lot!
But if I was to improve one thing, the tire holder. The tire is really heavy. Not really a one person, easily done job to pick that 35” tire up. Then put it on the rack. If the rack was designed not only to swing out, but to also pull a pin and drop rearward on the ground. You could actually mount the tire to the plate by yourself. Then push the tire back up to the body of the truck and lock the pin holding it up vertically!
Let me know what you think??

Love the design! But I’m holding off for now because:

The air suspension doesn’t have much travel in Very High or Extract mode.
The current battery skid plate seems a bit thin and could be at risk of punctures or bending even before the original bumper is likely to get scratched.
The front tie rods and upper control arms feel a little fragile, so the factory setup seems better suited for mild overlanding than serious off-roading.

Without addressing these, the off road bumper might end up being more for looks than function, but that’s just my two cents.

Also, just curious, does FSD still work if a rear-mounted spare tire blocks the right-side of the rear camera?

No bueno…
I believe this is just the prototype but also I just don’t like seeing that undercarriage and suspension from the rear. I like what it does but aesthetically that has to be cleaned up.
