After I had my PCS replaced under warranty, my air compressor for the suspension is MUCH MUCH louder. I would always be able to hear it but now it sounds like my portable Ryobi compressor running in my back seat. I brought it back into the SC and told them and they said it's working as designed. No errors? All good. It also seems to be running MUCH longer than it used to before. I've had the truck since 6/2024 and have 33k miles on it. I know what it used to sound like. SC is no help. Escalate with them or try and figure out the noisy compressor on my own? What do you guys think?

If its still under warranty, i would ask them to look again, and be very specific about your concern.

I recorded the sound and brought it back. The service advisor said it’s within spec and started a word salad that I still am trying to understand. He said pulse wave modulation and auto recharging desiccant bags at some point to explain the added noise. I tried attaching the noise.

24 foundation sept build. Dropped mine off for CP_a004 and PCS2_a103 codes… won’t charge on my mobile but will charge on the wall connector and supercharge. They are replacing the PCS. I thought it just might be the mobile charge 🤷‍♂️

Weird. You can try a different SC, or just let them know its DIFFERENT from before the work was done

Well shoot, my turn I guess. My truck just spit out the same PCS2_a094/095 codes and says can’t AC charge or PowerShare. Service mode shows one of the AC/DC inverters isn’t passing health checks.

Fortunately after letting it sit overnight it will now charge on AC at 24 amps via the one working module and Supercharging is still working as well.

The redundancy is working as expected and I’m thankful for that. But will have to get into service for presumed PCS replacement.

I'm with you. Mine stopped charging at home, but a supercharger still worked. Got an estimate of $7,336! I am so bummed... 59k miles..

Running into an issue with charging @ home with my Wall Connector. I have always had the CT set to 24A @ home but today tried to go to 48A and it would not go higher than 24A. Filled out SERVICE REQ and came back with Service Activity: Cybertruck PCS2 Replacement. Got an appt for 02/16 @ 1315. Also getting Windshield Camera Area Precision Cleaning & Tire Rotation.

Just thought you guys might want to watch out for this. It seems

So 1 in 3 trucks has a failed power system. That’s pretty fucking aweful if true. That’d certainly be worthy of a recall.
Statistically invalid conclusion. Self-selected sample means nothing.

False. Statistically valid when poll statistics are the context.
The context of this stat is the people who replied, not of every truck produced, though i would love to see that statistic.

For about a week after picking mine up after the PCS replacement, I too could hear my air compressor (or what I assume is the air compressor). Wasn't as bad as yours, but was definitely louder than before and running more than it had before.

I cycled my truck from entry to high (or maybe extraction) a couple of times in the driveway, and I haven't really noticed it since. Something to try, anyway, if you haven't. Maybe some sort of calibration?

Same thing for me. Took a bit longer but the sound quieted down after some time. Still louder than original and seems like it runs more. It may not actually be running more it's just that I can hear it now. It's not obnoxious as it was at first so I'm thinking I'll leave well enough alone.
I did buy some sound deadening panels and might at some point open the bed and see if I can use them somewhere to eliminate vibration and sound but not in a rush at this point. More like a spring project. :)
Glad to see it wasn't just me.

I really hope they are replacing the PCS with a unit other than what was in there originally...

Btw
They can remotely review the service logs for PCS issue
Might have to push them/escalate to have them perform
