Aren't you worried someone could steal it? I honestly always think that someone could dismount it and simply walk away, since it's low enough to the ground that anyone could mess with it.External mount from Mars AG:

Suits our needs perfectly as didn't want it inside the cabin for extended periods of time.
The mount doesn’t allow the PeakDo to be directly attached as intended, but I can plug it in through an extension cable.
Mount is extremely sturdy and signal has been fantastic. I’m powering it through the 110 in the bed and need to play with the wiring still and the best way to hide and protect it.
The silicone cover has worked well so far, although it is prone to someone coming by and just taking it off.
Working on a winter write up but though 2+ weeks of snow, the mini and its snow melt feature were outstanding! It easily dealt with snow accumulation between 1-2” per hour but during our heaviest of storms, it couldn’t clear it all quick enough and there was some ice accumulation. That occurred when we were getting 3”+/hr and temps in the teens.
