I have had (and still have) Free Supercharging for life on my Model 3 Performance for over 7 years.

Over 7 years it's saved me less than $1000 (total) in Supercharger billing. Not a big deal for those who don't do a lot of Interstate travel. The last trip we took my wife's 2024 Model 3 Performance even though we would have to pay for Superchargers because it has active suspension, less wind noise and slightly better seats (ventilated).
Our math is quite different but we have discussed that before.
I absolutely believe that’s true for you but In my use case it’s not.

The 4Runner is my forever car. Never selling it. Riding it the wheels fall off. I am probably going to sell the Cybertruck and upgrade my suspension on the 4Runner.
Decision made, sell and close your CT Owner account. Congrats even though short lived. Again $39,990, don’t be Tesla greedy, it cost you very minimum for the win.

In Texas, you only pay sales tax on the difference between the new vehicle's price and your trade-in's value, a significant tax credit that applies only when you trade it in at the same dealership where you buy the new vehicle, not if you sell it privately.

If you trade-in your RWD Cybertruck with an AWD Cybertruck or a new 4Runner you could save most of the Sales Taxes for a new vehicle.

@uttergreatness How old is your 4Runner?
Maybe this the occasion to get a new vehicle (CT AWD or 4-Runner).
It’s a 2019 with only 100k miles on it. It’s not even broken in yet. Why would I get rid of it?

My BIC, I posted the contest page announcing my winning and posted pictures of me accepting it. The X post even has an interview with the awarding CEO and me driving away it it. What do you mean if it exists. I made this post to get the opinion of other people who own this thing. Why are you so angry?

Congrats! Known a handful of people who have won vehicles in contests. I get where you are coming from.

To be fair, you pretty much already said "F this truck, I'm keeping my 4runner"... so kinda feels like you already made a decision and not sure why anyone else's opinion would be required.

That said, as someone who literally sold his 2016 4Runner to Carmax this week to help pay for the CT that is on order..... my opinion is different than yours, but I ain't angry, I just wanted a vehicle that can get out of its own way when I smash the pedal, and the 4runner was never that. ;)

Wait.. maybe sell the CT and instead of the suspension upgrade for the 4runner... Supercharger? Magnuson made a nice one last time I looked.

I think I may do both.

I also never said fuck this truck. Someone suggested I trade in my 4Runner. I need 2 cars and one is going to be the 4Runner. So many people have been rude on here and I just don’t get it.

Hey, have you tried Full Self Driving? Does your Toyota do that? I'm looking forward to Summon and Banish abilities in the Cybertruck so I can go somewhere in it and just send it back home on its own for my wife to use. I hear Toyota's going to develop that too. Should be ready around the fifth of never. (I'm not angry... I just think you're missing the best feature of all. No need to have a second car once full autonomy arrives .)

Self driving is cool. I like driving tho so it’s kinda boring. Having a wife and kids means you always need 2 cars. I am also very positive that my 4Runner can get to places the Cybertruck could never.
