When yall say free supercharging, do you mean just access or the supercharger network or that you don’t have to pay for the electricity that you get from it?
Free gas forever. But not gas. As long as you keep the truck that is.

I think the one thing I won’t be doing is getting another Cybertruck with it. I either keep this one or sell it. I am leaning towards selling it and paying off my 4Runner

I have free supercharging on both our cars and it’s worth way more than people say.
FOREVER
Also, depending on how upside down in the 4 runner you are you might be able to make up the difference by selling it

For Cyberbeast only, as part of the Luxe package, you get to supercharge for life, for free. They can take that privilege away, if they deem you're abusing it.
From Google AI

The Tesla Luxe Package for the Cyberbeast is a mandatory bundle, not optional, adding to the price but including Full Self-Driving (FSD) (Supervised), free lifetime Supercharging, four years of Premium Service, and Premium Connectivity, covering tech, charging perks, maintenance (tires, windshield, filters, cameras), and entertainment. It's designed to provide a premium ownership experience by bundling high-value features that customers of the top-tier Cyberbeast typically want, even though it increased the Cyberbeast's starting price significantly.

Key Inclusions:
  • Full Self-Driving (Supervised): Tesla's advanced driver-assistance system for navigating roads with minimal intervention, notes Autoblog, Tesla.
  • Free Lifetime Supercharging: Unlimited charging at Tesla's Supercharger network.
  • Four-Year Premium Service:
    • Wheel and tire protection/replacement.
    • Windshield protection and replacement.
    • Recommended maintenance like tire rotations, wheel alignments, and front camera cleaning.
    • HEPA filter and wiper blade replacement.
  • Premium Connectivity: Cellular data for streaming music, movies, and live traffic without needing Wi-Fi.

Important Considerations:
  • Mandatory: You can't buy the Cyberbeast without the Luxe Package, as it's bundled in

The 4Runner is my forever car. Never selling it. Riding it the wheels fall off. I am probably going to sell the Cybertruck and upgrade my suspension on the 4Runner.

Have you paid the sales tax on it yet? Will this significant increase your income tax owed for the year?

Also, How are your insurance rates and annual registration fees for this? Those costs for my AWD CT were significant and something I definitely needed to factor into my purchase decision.

One option is to buy FSD and just use the CT as a cool chauffeur that happens to have seating for 5 and allot of cargo space. None of those other options matter as much if all is going to do is drive you to and from places (except a secure cargo cover, that really is so nice).

It'll never be enough though, I wish I could have afforded the Cyberbeast, especially with included FSD & Free Supercharging - free fuel for the life of the vehicle is worth thousands annually and the CT can be used to charge your other Tesla, so potentially free fuel for two cars.

I don’t get what’s so funny?
Nobody here knows about the RWD because it’s a very rare model that was only manufactured for a couple of months before being discontinued. So it’s a bit of a Unicorn, Cybertruck-wise. It’s got the benefit of being the longest range most efficient version, especially if you get a bed cover. It’s really a great truck but just lacks so many benefits compared to the AWD version which was only $10k more. Good luck with whatever you choose to do! 📐

Ouch, that's too bad, but you can only do what you can do Consider paying for and experiencing one month of FSD before giving away the Tesla for an old 4-Runner. I wish this was more adorable to more people, it really is great!

I have been having it drive me around the past few days but I love my 4Runner and would choose it 10/10 times over a Cybertruck

I think we already established that there’s only one chauffeur Cybertruck you should own…

I am mostly retired and drive like 200-300 miles a month tops. I don’t think keeping this thing is the right choice.

No. I thought about just running my house off my truck... There is no way Tesla wouldn't be able to spot that and nip your free supercharging for life in its proverbial butt.

However, if Tesla DID say it was okay, I know one guy who might just hit that Supercharger on the way home every day...

I use about 30KwH a day in the truck... I could give 50KwH a day to the house... Cut down on that $600/month electric bill...
