Pardon me but I don’t strike up a conversation with people who literally the first two words out of their mouth directed at me are “white faggot.” Followed directly by telling me he is going to “fuck me up.” Call me crazy. People like that belong in a cage. And people who enable this kind of shit to continue do too imho.

I don’t tolerate it for myself, for the same reason that I don’t tolerate it when it happens to other people, such as minorities. Hate speech is wrong. It’s not something society should become normalized or numb to.

You’ve also made quite a few hateful statements that aren’t a whole lot better than what you’ve claimed happened. If real, then I can certainly understand and sympathize.

I’ve never had anything even remotely negative occur with my CT. Sure, some don’t like the way it looks, and that’s certainly fine. I live in Florida, surrounded by rednecks in lifted trucks, and never even a middle finger, let alone a verbal altercation.

The only issues I’ve seen with CTs have happened in Cali or other liberal areas due to unhappiness with Elon, which wouldn’t typically also include something race or preference related.

To be clear, I accept the premise that people like you are describing do still exist. But incredibly rare, and not really tolerated by any part of our society, so they tend to only exhibit this behavior behind the anonymity of social media, not face to face.

Unless they were on drugs, then all bets are off…

What would you all do if you went and parked somewhere in public, and upon exiting your cyber truck and walking on the sidewalk to a restaurant, minding your own business, the person in the vehicle parked behind you, upon walking up and seeing your vehicle, proceeds to shout at you menacingly, referring to you by the color of your skin, and an ugly homophobic slur, threatens to fuck you up, tells you to get out of there, and tells you that they’re going to dent your vehicle, what would y’all do about that? Just asking. Thx.

I keep pepper spray in my vehicle.
I would have returned to the truck. Photographed via video his plates and his vehicle. Taken the pepper spray with me and made sure to photograph the perp. People like that often melt away if they are on camera. Phone in one hand pepper spray in the other. Be sure and buy the spray police use it shoots out in a strong stream about 50 ft.
Then I would go about my business. After dinner inspect vehicle and look over sentry video at my convenience. If he continued during the my rolling of video I might post it on X for the community to ID the trouble maker.

I have not said anything hateful. That’s comically insane of you to liken anything I’ve said, to being called a “white fagot” and threatened with bodily harm all in the same breath. I said that people who violently threaten passersby belong in cages. What a radical concept!

Here I am innocently minding my own business, walking to the restaurant in that block to pick up my dinner. I didn’t even glance in his direction. You can see him get out of his car. The very first words out of his mouth were “you white fagot, I’m going to fuck you up.”

I get what you are saying, it is upsetting to experience this type of behavior. I had someone riding my tail the other day honking, swerving back and forth and being insane for no reason. I was with my wife and we were right next to a highschool as kids were getting out of school so traffic was backing up in front of us, kids were everywhere and I had nowhere to go.

I pulled over to see what this guy was going to do, and he drove past us flipping us off and honking and turned the corner and was stuck in traffic a few cars ahead of us. It was crazy, tons of people were watching, and it was all hate inspired by something completely arbitrary, our Cybertruck.

Owning this thing we have gotten the absolute smallest taste of what tons of people have experienced their whole lives. Being hated for no reason by people who don't know anything about you. I used to hear stories and try to imagine what that would feel like, now I have a little better understanding.

At first there were days when it would really get to me, but in the last year I've actually started to feel bad for these people. How miserable does your life have to be for you to act like an asshole to a random stranger?

I've had some training in self-defense, and my approach is to always do everything I can to get out of a situation without escalating it. I'll be a pussy, I'll admit defeat, I'll do anything except antagonize and try to confront them. You aren't going to convince anyone in that situation that they are wrong, you can't reason with them. And meeting them with violence wouldn't be good for anyone. It's unacceptable behavior, but that is the world we live in. The only thing you can change is how you deal with it and how you treat others in return.

When my iPhone video above ends, is when the call to 911 that I initiated from my center screen in my CT, began. These people are quite literally mentally ill and in need of psychiatric attention.

EDIT-I see the phone video now. It didn’t initially show up, only the CT video. I don’t hear him calling you anything in your video, just you stating that, then him getting in his vehicle, and you walking around videoing. He got in his vehicle and rolled his window up, then started videoing you. He seems intimidated, not aggressive or violent.

I agree with the guy above, take this to Reddit or elsewhere , this doesn’t seem to be related to Cybertruck at all, and not a fit for this forum.

Wow you are a terrible judge of what you’re looking at then. I started recording the moment those words were said to me. Which is exactly what correlates with the CT’s footage, of me from the moment I left my vehicle to walk to the restaurant. The driver got back out of his vehicle after those three seconds as you were describing them, if I’m not mistaken. The dash cam footage allows me to save 30 seconds at a time to my phone, which is what I did to post that relevant pertinent timeframe of from the moment that I left my truck. You should just stop now, acting like I’m being insincere. You are the insincere person here. And upon reviewing the subsequent dashcam footage behind the 30 second clip it let me save to my phone at one time through the Tesla app, he did NOT step back out of his car. My footage recording him, was that immediate, that it captured him while he was still out of his car, he had just gotten up and out of his car, opened the door, and shouted at me “you white faggot I’m going to fuck you up.” I immediately took my phone out and started recording him. That’s what my two videos correlate and clearly show. As I said, CT capturing audio would have clearly heard him shouting that epithet at me. It’s literally what prompted me to take my phone out and begin recording him.

There are two separate videos I posted. Not just the dash cam footage. Also my iPhone recording what was occurring for the moment he shouted those racial and homophobic slurs at me, alongside a threat that he was going to attack me. That took only mere moments. That’s the one part you see accurately.
