I looked around the site and couldn't find anything specific to feature requests! every time a new update is coming out people add requests for the next one. There should be one devoted to just that. No discussions, No (but that's stupid). If it's a feature that already exists just add a link, I'm sure someone has already discussed it. I just want a clean thread where Tesla engineers can just pop in and take a quick look. Maybe we'll get some of them that way.

I'll start things off with. Raise the truck when shifting out of park. I just lost my 5th set of mudflaps. when i back in to a parking block or curb the mudflaps go past it. then the truck lowers to Easy Entry, and they go behind the curb. no problem so far. But then the next morning I go to pull out and forget to raise the truck first, there's a loud scraping sound and i'm picking up one or both of my mudflaps again. When I or Autopilot am shifting out of park, just have the suspension go to mid. not that hard, and no legitimate reason not to. I don't think anyone would back into a low overhead in easy entry. can you even drive in EE? 20-30 yards across the parking lot the CT raises automatically. Just have it do it when first shifting.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Sorry, but that's proper usage.

Another feature request would be to have a way to precondition from the app. Imagine you're in a hotel. It's 12degrees outside. your battery is at 30%. There's a Tesla charger 3 miles away. You warm up the interior, but when you get in and navigate to the charger, your battery is at 12degrees. it won't warm up in 3 minutes. But you could have started when you went down for breakfast! if only there was a way to do it from the app.

Per the manual, defrost warms the HV battery.

I can press a button in my control center, on my watch, or I can say “hey siri, prep for takeoff”

1. Give a configurable option in the software where I can map a feature to one of the hard buttons on the steering wheel. For example, the one I’m looking for is to be able to turn on the power outlets that control my overhead LED light or my bumper LED light from one of the switches on the steering wheel. There’s even an open button on the steering wheel now that’s not connected to anything I believe.

2. YouTube and other entertainment experiences available to the passenger while driving. Internal camera can still monitor the driver for compliance and then also compare it against the weight in the passenger front seat and maybe even throw in a click thru disclaimer. Too much big brother now.

3. Improve the wireless charging rate (even with the most current hardware, it’s still very very slow)

4. Tough one - they would have to redesign the tonneau cover role mechanism, but the ability to have some kind of pass-through from the passenger compartment to the truck bed.

Tesla had this option (a long time ago) but the NHTSA said that it was unsafe, Unfortunately
