I was researching because mine is due very soon. for normal road use All Season, Michelin Defender LTX Platinum for best mile, efficiency and road noise. for off road All Terrain, BF Goodrich T/K KO3.
Agree. Would also consider the OEM Goodyear ATs if no concern about snow traction and wanted a light-duty AT tire.

The Bridgestone Ascent Dueler AT is another solid contender for all-around AT tire.

First, my tires have always worn identically at all four corners (I’ve got 49,000 miles on my truck)…every time I bring in for rotations the tire guys tell me it wasn’t necessary. So I think your excessive rear wear might be something to look at carefully. Are you Beast or AWD (I’m FS AWD)?
I have two wheel sets, one Core/Pirellis and one Cyber/Goodyear ATs which I’ve fitted with Blizzaks for the winters. I burned through the Core/Pirellis in one spring/summer/fall with full xc roadtrip, whereas the OEM Goodyears that came on the Cyber wheelset still had plenty of life left after same amount (Spring/Summer/Fall, full xc roadtrip) of driving In the same seasons. The OEM Goodyear AT is a remarkable tire, surprisingly quiet for a chunky tread, but as mentioned by others it is a HORRIBLE snow tire, even when brand new. The Core/OEM Pirelli had very shallow tread brand new, and has almost nothing left after same amount~15k miles.
The Pirelli ATs on my wife’s Rivian are also terrible in snow, wear fast, really loud. I get the feeling Pirelli doesn’t have their act together on rubber compound chemistries, whereas Michelins are always amazing and others like described here in the forum are also putting out good tires.

You can't go 0-100 as fast as you can as this truck has some serious torq. I'm at 26k on the original AT tires and I'm currently at 6/32 but I also rotate every 10k and don't punch after every stop.

Many recommend the Michelin Defender LTX Platinum for highway driving. I’m definitely going to make those my next set of tires.

It would be helpful to know beyond the tread depth what the tread was like. Was it even? Was the inside or outside worn more? Was the tread feathered? Cupped?

If I was to bet, if it was even across the tread... you have a toe problem. If was was inner or outer, you have a camber problem. In any case, it is likely an alignment issue.

I have 38 k miles on the goodyears, use mostly fsd, all paved roads. They are almost due for a change and I have been very consistent with rotating them about every 6500 miles.
I have almost 30,000 on the original tires (mid-2024 AWD). I use FSD on road trips and, occasionally, in town. When using FSD I go back and forth between Chill and Normal. My tires appear to have about 25% wear remaining.

I think it depends on where you live and the type of driving you do. I just replaced my OEM AT tires at 21,000 miles. Not because I had to, but because I was going into another winter and the OEMs were not cutting it in the snow anymore. One snowstorm was all it took for me to realize I needed new tires. Riding on BF Goodrich KO3s now. They are far superior to OEM in my opinion. The OEM ATs were slipping in a few inches of powder. They didn’t do that last year, but they did wear quickly and now I’m more confident in the bad weather. I’d rather spend $2k on new tires than much much more on body work for a slide into xyz after a brief snowfall. I don’t live in an area that’s worth a separate set of winter tires, but one snowfall a year is enough to warrant a new set. From what I have read, tire wear on stock Tesla tires is common, if not the standard. But I follow the Boy Scout creed, I’d rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it
I follow that creed but do not recall (albeit it’s been 6 decades) that being a Boy Scout creed. You wouldn’t have a reference would you - out of curiosity.

So I’m cheap. I got my truck with core wheels because, at the time, cyber wheels were a $3,500 upgrade and I could get a set of cyber wheels with duratrac tires for $3K in the Tesla shop. I decided to save $500 and have 4 spare wheels. But I’m so cheap I had to wear my Pirellis out first. I was intentionally not nice to them. The truck was never in anything other than beast mode. I launched it constantly and took corners as fast as possible. I took it to drag strips, I took it on the weaviest roads I could find, and I did donuts. My tires lasted 24,300 miles before my tread depth gauge finally showed red on one of them (under 3/32). Something must be up with yours. Did they wear evenly across the tread? Or was one side more worn than the other?

I was never a Boy Scout. But I figured their mantra was something along those lines. May not necessarily be their creed. But @ABILISK is correct. Just be prepared.

Something is cooked. I’m at 17k and both front rear about 6/32. I drive pretty spirited.

I forgot to rotate my pirelli’s until around 19k to where Tesla and other shops wouldn’t rotate due to 1 of the tires at 3/33, the others were 4 and 5. I waited until 23k miles to get as much as I could out of them. And while squeezing the last few miles out of them I did hours and hours of research and price shopping to find the Michelin Defender Platinums were the best bang for the buck for AS tires.

Costco has them for about $1900 installed after the $80 discount.

I’ve had them on my truck for about 1k miles over the last couple of weeks and absolutely love them. Quiet, nice aggressive sidewall and a 70k mile warranty on them.

I'm at 20K with my Scorpions. They still look good. One rotation around 16K. Going to replace them with Scorpions that have a warranty, eventually.

I do FSD everywhere, and no offloading. Are you mashing it at green lights? Doesn't take much, my stealth performance Model 3 taught me that. hah
