Installed v14.2.1.25 last night and FSD and Park Assist not working. Tried all the reboot fixes with no success. New software update just came through. We'll see if it fixes the issue.
Update push just installed fixed all previous holiday update issues.

After loading the holiday software update my FSD no longer works despite reboots and power off and dr8ving and I have tried button on steering wheel and tapping screen and nothing makes FSD engage. I checked in menu and FSD is selected. Anyone else had this happen?
Ken, you have at least two aftermarket spliced-in devices (rear view camera mirror and the dash LED strip). Is that maybe the issue?

I wonder if this has something to do with it? I have a bumper light bar installed which plugs into the right front speaker harness. It caused a small error message shown here

https://www.cybertruckownersclub.co...umper-light-bar-installed.37114/post-30589801

It has not caused any functionality issues and I’ve ignored it for months with everything working perfect. But I wonder if everyone that has had issues with this last update has some modifications to the truck?

I got the service center to push the update to the car again since reinstalling from the service menu did nothing. Before trying to install I’m going to unplug the spliced connectors and get the truck back to stock to see if that is somehow interfering with the update. Of note, I’ve had the light bar Installed for many months and through many previous updates with no issues before. Perhaps this one updated a module that has not been updated before so now my spliced connector is causing the issue.

Since update I get an error on suspension not able to raise.
Seems if I start in FSD it works, but once I disable FSD the re-enable the error comes back. Very repeatable.

I have the holiday version installed with no issues. This version fixed a lot of the speed limit issues I was having where FSD was driving significantly under the posted speeds. It is much more aware of cars around it and matches the speed. It is also reading speed limit signs better and is operating more effective in knowing what speed to go where it has not seen a posted sign.

The random "i'm taking a right turn, but not really" issue has also gone away. The truck is also not diving into every single bypass lane anymore. It continues to be cautious when there is deep snow or ice and forges on where the roads are clear.

This version has been nearly perfect for me. It is so relaxing.

Not only is it stopping for people in crosswalks consistently, it sees deer nearly every time even when just standing in the roadside ditch. Best of all, it is aware, despite snowfall, where the speed bumps are in parking lots and is appropriately slowing down for them!

My only quibble is that it seems to have forgotten all my navigation shortcuts. I guess it might have erased my driving history somehow and I have to force it to leave it's intended navigation path to get where I need to go.

Love this version.

My Holiday FSD update experience has been excellent other than the intermittent windshield wiper swipe issue has returned and it is occasionally hugging the right side of the lane more than it did before the update. Overall it is working very well.

I installed the Holiday software last night, and I drove my CT today using FSD. Everything seemed to be working fine. Fingers crossed.
Same here. Installed Sunday night, drove it on Monday and FSD worked fine. Must be some weird vehicle specific glitch when the software installs.

The first drive after the holiday update FSD would not engage with a message on the display saying poor GPS signal. Only took about 15 seconds of driving then it engaged without issue.

Big update:

I removed the splicing plug that I use for my bumper light bar and after a soft reset the car seemed to behave like normal. FSD was available to activate and the car no longer shut off after entering and closing the door. The service menu confirmed that the drivers seat occupancy sensor was working again as well. A lot of 3rd party electronics splice into the front right speaker so I bet that is the common factor.

I’m reloading the update now and will go for a drive to see how it behaves. If normal I may try to plug it back in and see if it stops working again.

Can 100% confirm it was my aftermarket light bar causing the issue.

After disconnecting the spliced connector and updating again everything worked as expected including FSD function.

I then plugged my light bar in again and immediately all the issues returned. I returned the connector back to stock and everything works as expected.

I believe a lot of the digital rear view mirrors use that same connection point. Something with this last update has made that splice nonfunctional.

What item did the KC Service center push to you? They pushed the same update again to me, it installed, rebooted and had the exact same issues, no FSD (I do have park assist), and the driver seat sensor doesn't detect me sitting in the seat. (Could that be a safety issue?)

I do have a service appointment scheduled for next week but so far for me the reinstall of the same version they pushed to me a 2nd time did NOT fix the situation.

I highly doubt it because others on the internet are reporting the exact same issue and they don't have the same mods that I do. Additionally, NOTHING you plug into the power port in either footwell would affect FSD that is on a completely different system.

(Actually see my response in a following message, if it is the seat sensor that the aftermarket harness is messing with then I can see where FSD wouldn't work if it didn't get a signal from the seat sensor that made sense.)

Again, highly doubt it. Why? Because the lightbar harness I have is the updated one that passes the speaker information through whereas the one you have does not as exhibited by your error on screen. Additionally, FSD doesn't ride on the same network in the car that the audio system does, could you imagine unplugging a speaker and suddenly FSD doesn't work anymore? :) :) :)

(Actually see my response in my next message, if it is the seat sensor that the aftermarket harness is messing with then I can see where FSD wouldn't work if it didn't get a signal from the seat sensor that made sense.)

Egads shocking to hear, but now that I think about it, if the harness has the connection for the driver seat detection and the truck doesn't detect you in the seat then wouldn't that be like getting out of your seat while on FSD in which case FSD would shut off? I am curious now as well so I will go pull the harness for the front bumper light bar in the morning and see if it makes a difference. IF it does, then it begs the question why Tesla would change the channel for the driver seat detection.

Have you tried any other wiring harnesses such as one for the rear view mirror or other aftermarket item? It would be nice if Tesla offered up a preferred way of tapping into power so that all aftermarket accessories could adhere to that standard. I think I will reach out to some of my Tesla contacts to see if something like that can be done.

I didn't update the software when prompted in the app a couple of days ago, now it's not showing in the Tesla app. Do updates become unavailable if you ignore the prompts, or did Tesla pull this one back due to so many issues?
