I'm looking for thoughts/opinions from people who have replaced their OEM tires. I have about 20k miles on my core tires and it's about time to replace them. I've looked at a lot of the common recommendations - K03, Falkens, Toyos, Duratrac, but haven't seen much comparison (I have searched lots of threads) on the best tires for someone who dabbles in off roading and has a few snow events a year, but also prioritizes noise and range loss. I see lots of discussion for off road specific tires, and discussion for only range/noise, but haven't seen much for trying to get the best of both worlds.
From what I've read so far, it seems like the two best options to have good noise/range, while still adding off road and snow capabilities, are the Open Country AT III's and the Wildpeak AT4s. Seems like K03s and Duratracs offer much better off road but you lose more in noise and range.
Is anyone in the same boat as me and have pulled the trigger on either one of those tires? Or any other recommendations?
Would love your input and experience with the tires.
I know tires are talked about all the time, so I apologize for another thread. Just couldn't find anything for this scenario so thought a new discussion could be beneficial.
Bonus: Any experience with national tire brands that you would recommend - DiscountTire, Costco, etc would also be appreciated
