It is all dependent on how much snow and ice. Though the heavy is what works against the CT... stopping ~6600lbs on snow/ice is the primary issue. Getting moving with the traction control Tesla has is usually no issue. Turning at a slow enough speed is usually fine. Stopping is the primary issue. Physics is undefeated.spoke with a friend who has owned a CT since last year, foundation model AWD -- he told me he didnt even get dedicated witner tires, just drove the truck like normal all winter and it was fine.
He said the truck is so heavy that he didnt feel he needed to swap tires -- just sharing some insights for those still on the fence.
ive always had a seperate set of winter tires so i'll be getting the nokians
