Attending the 2025 Shareholder Meeting?

So, I was fortunate enough to receive the "RSVP to join us at the 2025 Shareholder Meeting" email and did so.

After RSVP'ing, it says "Your Submission Has Been Received. This is a limited capacity event, but we will send a confirmation email once we've confirmed attendance numbers."

Does anyone know when you get the confirmation email that you've been accepted? A few weeks notice (like... now) would be good to give people time to find flights, hotels, etc. I've never been to the meeting before, but would love to go to see what I'm hoping will be some epic demos. Plus, you know, Gigafactory tour.

Don't you also have to be selected in a random drawing? Or does the email signify that you were selected in the drawing?

The 2025 Shareholder Meeting webpage acknowledges that it is a "limited capacity event", and adds:

To maximize fairness, we are conducting a random drawing to determine our shareholders’ eligibility to attend the meeting in person ... We expect to begin communicating attendee selections during the week of October 13, 2025.

Shareholders that were not selected in the drawing can still attend the Virtual Shareholder Meeting, if they have their 16-digit control number.

Your guess is as good as mine. I submitted proof of stock ownership a few weeks ago, and then just got the email with the RSVP link two days ago (pic below). That's the one I filled out, and had to specify if I was bringing a guest.

But it seems like it's still not completely done? I don't know if there's more random drawing, or if they're just waiting on RSVPs now, or.... something else?

It's not a very clear process.

Yeah, I flew in from California! It all worked out ok and was a fun couple of days. There will be several "shareholder" meetups at various places that you can go to!

It looks like I’ll be attending this year as my girlfriend got the invite (that I helped her sign up for) ! Assuming of course the confirmation comes in like 48hrs beforehand, like last year!

Did you go with a +1, and were they able to get a QR code to get in? I was reading some posts and they were saying their +1 was not able to get an invite. Hoping this is not the case as I've already booked tickets for me and my +1.

The invite DID COME with a +1 invite BUT they needed to be a TESLA REGISTERED stock holder! They need to confirm their shares AND have a Tesla account or they will NOT be confirmed! I ended up going alone because neither of the two people I invited (one after another) could "figure out" how to get registered and or had conflicts for a LAST MINUTE trip. So, whomever you put the name of in the INITIAL invite, they need to create a Tesla account, go to investor relations and confirm their share ownership (with SAY) and keep your fingers crossed from that point on. The actual confirmation invite showed up about 2 days before the event last year for me as I was thinking it's not gonna happen...so be ready to jump and go!

Yeah, there was really not that many people there, maybe like 250-300 tops? If it comes in, it comes in and I'll jump on a plane and go-well worth the trip! If I get the final invite, I'll post it here and anyone else that's going or has any "special requests" or whatever we can perhaps meet up at the event. Fingers Crossed!
