That’s extremely cool. Is that the original glacier with the ice machine? Always thought those were pretty cool. Very tempted by this slide-out approach. One of the real shortcomings of the cybertent is how
inaccessible it makes the very back of the bed. It would be a pretty big help to be able to move it a tailgate or two tailgates worth backwards and access it from the side of the truck.

Nice! Maybe I’ll stick with my first instinct. Seems like tmat sort of functions like the cargo divider too and is a bit more versatile. You have a urander cap too?

Wouldn’t be surprised if these drawers were like 10k

What tmat specs did you order? They used to have CT specific orders but that seems to have been removed.

So one downside of the tmat system seems to be that you have to have the tailgate bare to use it. In my case I have a TPE gate protector and cushion threaded underneath it on there which acts as a changing table and bench.
I guess I could unbuckle that at the bottom, flip it up so it hangs off the tailgate and then slide but I imagine I’d have to take the tpe protector off so back to straps on the outside of the tailgate.

Yep, the original Glacier with the ice maker. Keep in mind the tmat is intended to fill the entire truck bed, to keep it from sliding with the tailgate closed. It does fit the CT vault pretty good. I used the 2”x12” strips on the side of the 4 back rows to fill in the width of the vault. I did not use the 2” strips on the front two rows to make it easier to open the sub vault. The tmat floor panel fit is very tight and does not come apart when sliding the entire mat. Note: they have a couple of blocks that are labeled as tight fit and they are definitely tight fit. I do prefer the tight fit for my usage to keep the heavier Ecoflow battery from moving.

I ordered the universal fit for 6’ to 6.5’ truck beds with the drain hole option. They must have had some complaints from CT owners due to the sub vault access. The vehicle selector in March was providing the universal option for the CT.

Yes, I have the Urander rack with an Intrepid RTT. I am waiting to see what Fruble will offer for a slide out kitchen. Their site used to have more information about the slide out, but now it only shows a corner of the slide out with a note coming in Summer of 2025.

Very cool. I’m sure you’ve already seen this but these guys look like they will be offering pretty cool kitchen slideouts too. Although, based on what they think the going rate is for a frunk toolbox , I’d expect that kitchen setup to be priced roughly like an airstream trailer.

Yes, I met Clinton at Starbase for launch’s #7 and #8. His swing out kitchen in the CT vault is awesome. I really like his Frunk storage system.

Yes but do you $2500 like it? I’m guessing the answer is no unless you’re planning to get one.

And if a slide out kitchen takes up half the bed then presumably the tmat can be reconfigured to the remaining bed!

I think I’m going with the Mars Rack and Aeroblade RTT for the range.

Dang this is fun and exciting.

Oooo I found this Fruble Cyberslide. From that corner pic seems like someone with a bit of know how and a McMaster-Carr catalog could make that!

Yep, I saw Clinton’s version 1.0 at Starbase. He is very meticulous with the building and it looks like a custom piece of furniture. I am installing the T Sportline CTX front bumper this week with a Warn winch, which requires a 12v battery to be installed in the frunk. So, unfortunately I will not have room in the frunk for both. I should see Clinton at launch 10 when the date is announced to see what options I may have in the frunk or if he is planning to do anything for the vault. His swing out kitchen setup is way more than I need.

Urander is permanently in my “what about this?”column. You guys do beautiful work and as stated above, always appreciate your interface with the public (us dirty masses).
So, are you saying there are inner and outer panels on the bed cap that form a compartment between them?
What about the one with the windows. How does that work?

Really appreciate that. It means a lot to us! We love building with the community and sharing the journey with folks who are just as into it as we are.

You’re exactly right. The bed rack/cap has both inner and outer panels. That space is used for both storage and structure. Both the outer panels (polycarbonate or MOLLE) and the inside MOLLE panels have hinged openings. So you can access the side storage from outside the truck or from inside the bed. You can even sleep inside the bed with the inner panels closed for safety, while keeping the outer polycarbonate panels open for ventilation during the night.
