I am in shock! Accelerator recall delays my original delivery tomorrow!

Scrubbed out of an operation to learn my planned delivery (that was to happen tomorrow!!!!) was cancelled. So devastating UGH!!

I have never owned a Tesla before in my life. I guess I have hear enough good things about mobile repair units I assumed they would take care of systemic problems like this.... Again I am a total noob.

As I said, mobile service is available to some and in some situations, but not all. They may cover your area, you'll only find out if they offer it to you for a specific service. I never know if I will have to carry my car in of wait for a visit.

They stopped deliveries for an accelerator issue. This steering motor issue may be something else.

5525 here, mine was scrubbed but who knows if its just a blanket recall for all deliveries going forward this weekend..

And it seems like the article reeks of click-bait. With a whole bunch of parts they are not all going to be made in the US.
The Cybertruck is a brand new vehicle with 6,000 or so on the road. Being one of the first to get it there is always a chance of something is not quite right. I’m picking mine up on Wednesday and I’m willing to take that chance.

It depends on what is needed. Mobile Service can do a lot, but if they need a lift, or extensive disassembly, they'll need to to that at a Service Center (vs. your driveway). It really depends on the type of work.

Also, I'd suggest you update the Title of the thread to something like "Deliveries Paused" since it seems to be wide spread and would be helpful to inform everyone.

Yeah all the media hate the cybertruck and Tesla so everything has to be taken with a grain of salt. I can tell you though Monday morning if this is a true recall for all the trucks this will be Frontline news on every single major media network. Cuz they will pounce on a chance to trash Tesla.

Everyone saying that this is a surprise that this part for the steering rack was made in Mexico it literally says right on the window sticker for the truck 65 us 25 the rest of North America.

Interesting, I just got my VIN yesterday and the SC said my truck is still in Texas. When I asked about timing, there was a bit of a pause and said typically rail to KC is generally quick within the week. Then they said unforeseen circumstances out of their control may delay this. I’m 6800 range so maybe resolved when built yesterday.
