So I did a thing. I found a small Cyberbeast logo online, measured the exact size of the one laser etched on the back of the truck and scaled it to the exact dimensions so I can overlay it perfectly. I 3D printed it and used glow in the dark material that recharges with sunlight. Im still new to the 3D print world but I think it came out pretty cool and wanted to show it to you guys.

Awesome job! That said, I would make the whole thing glow in the dark with black inlay so you can see what it is at night

I thought about that... but it would look worse in the day time with the whole thing being yellow. I need to see if I can outline it in glow or something this way itll still be black and have the best of both.

I have seen fabric that appears black, but when light shines on it, it glows. Billabong has a surf jacket like that. I wonder if there is a similar 3d filament? I would love to do this print with the glow just as the OP, but the reflective black filament.

Thats above my pay grade at the moment. Im still a novice at this stuff.. it would be awesome if I could figure out a way to make it black in day and glow at night. Even if I can outline the whole thing w a single line or two of glow around the outer edge it would be awesome. I just haven't been able to figure out how to do it. Maybe someone with more 3D-ing skills than myself will chime in.

Did you print a glow in the dark base then an overlay in black? I can’t wrap my head around how you got both the glow in the dark and the black, although my Ender3 printer only does one color at a time. I guess if you had a dual filament print head it would be easy

The base is black, it switches colors in the center of the print to lay down some glow in the middle layer where the eyes and mouth are. My printer has the AMS that holds 4 spools, but you can do it manually, the print asks for 2 different colors, one being the glow in the dark, so it would either prompt you to change rolls or you can pause the print at that point and change it manually.
