This is with 20% front side windows, 20% front A pillar triangle, and 20% strip at top of windshield. Yes, with testing device front are slightly darker than rear, but looks perfectly even because of front windshield being so large and letting a lot of light in the front, my tint guy recommended it. I would never tint an entire front windshield, I drive too much at night.

Well, you said you only put 15% on the front four. That would mean you didn't tint the rears darker and I don't need a photo because I do know already how bad it looks. I tint windows for a living, been doing it 35 years and I'd never put 15% on the front doors and leave it like that unmatched to the rear on any of my customers cars. 20% is even 5% darker than the rear windows.
But hey, that makes it uniquely yours?
Matches well, you cannot really see a difference and I did the same for my MSP and MYLR. I used the same tint shop, they were also the ones who refused to do the windshield. The wrap shop will do that next week.

It will look like it matches from the outside but looking out from the inside looks terrible with the front darker than the rear. I can see from the picture the fronts are darker.

I HATE you!

So today, we were out and about and I turned around and looked and immediately noticed the difference looking out because of your comment. haha!

I swear I never once looked nor gave a crap when I did this with my MSP and MYLR…now with the CT and your comment? Noticed! Haha!

Getting the windshield done next week…you have me considering matching…ugh! Ha!

I think 20% on the front door windows is the way to go. Technically 30% ends up exact VLT to match rear (0.3x0.72= rear VLT), but with the huge windshield it makes the fronts appear lighter...

In case anyone is interested, below is the visible light transmittance levels of all of the windows of the Cybertruck used with a calibrated VLT tool within +/- 2%:

Front windshield: 76%
Windshield strip: 1% tapered to 76%
Front side windows: 72%
Front A pillar triangles: 72%
Rear side windows: 23%
Rear bed window: 26%
Roof glass: 3%
This is very useful information & since I have battled & successfully won the war with all 3 forms skin cancer I would also be interested in knowing how much UV is being blocked.

Have confirmed UV index less than two on ALL Cybertruck windows, which is the best you can get. Tesla put it in the Owner's Manual too, navigate to "Opening and Closing" then "Windows" and scroll down to "UV Index Rating."

That’s great to know. Thank you very much for the reference.

I’d be curious to know how they were measured though in terms of time of day as I would think that would make a difference on the as-tested value.

Good point. If they did the testing in the middle of the night it would be easy to get low UV reading.

I was told this is all light blocking but very little significant heat rejection. Can't quote a reliable source on this but I'd like to know if it's true.

I definitely feel the heat pouring through the windows, particularly the roof window in summer here in Florida, I have to physically turn on the rear AC every time I get in the vehicle even with no one in the backseat, it helps a ton. Not sure if there's a way to make the AC automatically come on in the rear every time like it does in the front?

Can you share pictures too? That seems pretty dark, but the windows on the CT are so big.
I will once the windshield is done on Wednesday! My tint shop that has done my MSP and MYLR would not even attempt the Cybertruck windshield, my wrap shop has done it before and are doing mine.

I posted a side shot of it a few posts above you can look at the 15% tint there. 30% windshield is darkest I have ever gone but f@k it...I see 5% rolling around all the time, even on cheap cars let alone super cars.
