Are there any other semi-unnoticeable things that don’t work? I’ve always questioned my cooled seats after the first week of ownership. I might be chasing the dragon but they dont seem to blow like they once did.

I have issues with the lumbar support In the driver seat not staying inflated. Works fine on passenger side.
I know there is likely a leak in the bladder there but SC has not yet acknowledged it.

The phantom wiping when in FSD… I know you can technically clean the interior windshield by removing the enclosure where the camera is… but I’m just not going to do that. Most owners aren’t.
Could you please elaborate? How is cleaning the interior windshield under the enclosure related to the phantom wipe?

My understanding is that off gassing / general crud build up makes it way there as I guess it’s not perfectly air tight, and the hazy look makes FSD think it’s either raining or the exterior is dusty and needs a wipe.

I had a popping noise in drivers seat when I shifted position in the seat. Turned out a part for the seat ventilation system came loose. Once it was reattached my cooling improved noticeably.

Front passenger seat also had a rattle going over rough surfaces. Lumbar component was loose.

Also creaking noise from both drivers side doors during spirited acceleration and deceleration. According to service advisor the doors needed slight adjusting.

Very good. That makes sense. Appreciate your connecting the dots for me.

Ventilated seats in the CT are a joke, jump in a refresh M3 or new MY and you will freeze to death on lvl 3 cooling, in the CT you can't tell if they are on or not.

1. There is a creak in the b pillar drivers door from the latch not cinching down properly. The macgyver fix is electrical tape to build up the latch catch so the door closes more tightly.
2. Creak in the tailgate pneumatic slow open gas strut.
3. Inner tire wear on the front tires on cyberbeast.

*try citing these things to a service center and see the estimate at $1000 even though it’s under warranty. The explanation is that they quote even warranty items. But if they can’t identify something to fix with each instance you get charged $200. So…normally I would refuse to pay such a thing and never deal with that company again. But we all are in a bad marriage with Tesla so we have to make nice even through the inner rage. I seriously wish I could get out but can’t escape the toxicity.

And my model 3 seats are infinitely more comfortable and supportive even though I feel like I’m sitting on the ground with the ridiculous sedan ride height.

Time to separate politics from car buying. It's quite a stretch but since some cannot win at the polls they resort to hate, even if it hurts what they are trying to achieve.

Y’all are listing stuff you can tell is messed up. I would have never known about the front motor inverter thing because I don’t go over 100mph.

I am finally getting my wheel covers and light bar for my one year old FS CB this week. When I scheduled the visit, they automatically added cleaning this area as a line item. I manually added the new wiper request since mine is the OG model and also had to manually add the Cant Rail replacement. However I received a note my location isn't doing the recall work yet and it likely won't be done.
