Several previously voted-in sites are either no longer visible on the map, or we're voting for the same locations again.

This is a fking disgrace.

Talking about Europe here.

If it is no longer there, it means it is probably in work. If you’re voting for it again, the system is working as intended and didn’t get enough votes for the site to get chosen. Nothing disgraceful about the system. What is disgraceful is that no other company lets the customers choose like this.

I wish that's what it meant, but unfortunately, no. Sites that are actively being worked on are at least greyed out on the map. These 'winner' locations have been completely removed for months now, with no visible progress.

Tesla's Supercharger expansion in Southeast Europe has been abysmal. According to sources from Tesla Motors Club Croatia, the entire Italian SuC team (responsible for a wider region around them) was canned due to poor performance.

For nearly five years, they deployed zero new Superchargers in the region. Only in the last nine months have they finally started moving again. They even flew in folks from the US to work on stalled projects here. Better late than never, I guess, but the delays have been frustrating.

it should be also how many vehicles Tesla sold in the States/areas. Why anybody wants to invest where ones' business is almost non existent.

1) to create travel routes
2) to remove a barrier to purchase, esp. for those who won't have home charging options

Cant just blame the private company either, most likely regulatory limitations. Tesla has never backed out of doing something difficult unless there was a “hard no” from govt.

No. There is a site that won in '23 in my region and was slated to open in '25. It's no longer slated to open, and it's in the vote again. Very annoying. At least it is once again getting votes. It's a key location that is needed for the western half of my province and a famous coastal tourist drive.

Did the local govt stop Tesla from installing it?
Seems like a lot of that stuff happening. New Jersey seems to be the biggest culprit of the year.
