I traded in my CT for another truck. I loved the truck to death but my family simply couldn't take the hate anymore. It was making my wife and kids pretty uncomfortable to even go out to dang ice cream without being harassed.

Anyways that's not what the post is about. I now have a ton of accessories that I need to sell!

If your family is being harassed during a normal outing, then I would strongly consider moving to a non-hostile area for the sake of your family. Here I was thinking New Hampshire was a pretty decent state...

Where might that Eden be? Seems like the distain comes from both ends of the spectrum. Even "Middle" America truck lovers seem to take offense that it is somehow demeaning to them by appropriating their 4x4 tough image. "That's not a REAL truck" mentality.

I love the CT but the haters are gonna hate for now. Maybe exposure to it over time will breed familiarity and they will eventually find something else to spend their energy on.

I have only received middle fingers and other gestures from passers-by in territory that is overrun by hippies and heavy drug users. And I've traveled quite a bit of the CONUS this year.

I'd suggest moving to a rural area where people aren't so hostile.
