Aerodynamics will be the BIGGEST differentiator. Something as simple as the distance between the front of the trailer to the back of the Cybertruck is going to make a difference. Is the trailer a smooth side or shingled? How many air conditioners? Single or tandem? Or the LP tanks enclosed or open. Spare tire on back?

Before you poopoo any of these, think of just how hard that Tesla goes to decrease the drag coefficient. Who would have thought that door handles added so much drag? Wheel covers? Tires? Front air dams?

People also tend to forget that hauling big trailers kill the gas mileage of the tow vehicles. Trailers of this size are common to result in single digit MPGs.
Yeah drag makes a huge difference. This is one of the main reasons I went with Airstream. There are SO many factors to consider when it comes to towing range. That’s why I always take towing range test with a grain of salt. My benchmark is 120 miles with 80% battery capacity with a fully loaded rig that “I tow”. If CT can do this, it’s a win for me. Pull through superchargers will eventually expand.

If I tow a box 25’ horse trailer with terrible drag and full of heavy cargo in a freezing temperature, CT range might be 50 miles, but I don’t care because that won’t be my rig or my use case.

Candidly, was a bit disappointed in that being a towing test. Don’t get me wrong, any bit helps. But, I’d like to see more mileage and breakdown of speeds. E.g., 100 miles at 55; 100 miles at 60; 100 miles at 65. The lower distances seem too impacted by the start stop, getting onto ramp, doing turnarounds, etc. to get truly reliable reads because of extrapolation.
At some point they (TFL) will do the Ike gauntlet towing test that will really push it and provide apples-apples stats with other EVs as well as gas/diesel trucks ... that's what I'm waiting for.

Did you want me to legit answer those questions?

I'm not sure exactly what moments you mean, seems to me you're having a lot of them though?
Sorry, I was talking weight and balances. That's how this stuff is actually done.

@OIIIIIIIO - now I know what you have been doing (starting new -ve threads)! Ain’t gonna happen my friend.

I just read through all your past messages - if you don’t like range, price, specs, design, etc. about CT, and if you think Tesla is going to completely unplug from CT, then I’m trying hard to understand your purpose here. All voices are welcome, but if you don’t like anything about CT, then you are just trolling in a CT forum!
Then don't buy one! Don't bash the CT because you don't like what you read.once you see one in person,, itsWOW!,its beyond different. Just like cell phone..oh it a fad.. now look. Everybody has one..
