I’ve had these spots on my car and I can’t get rid of them. Does anyone have any advice on what cleaner to use to get rid of it?

1)If soap and water, or whatever car wash
2)Hard water remover, looks like you parked somewhere with a continuous drip?
3)Or decontamination with iron remover
Or some folks gonna say BKF

I’d try Sprayaway first and if that doesn’t work then passivate it with Citrasurf, that has always worked for me. Several threads on the forum about passivating. Very easy to do.

One of the best things I did was coating the truck with ProtectaClear with thorough prep work though. No more iron spots, no fingerprints, and easy clean with just water, some soap sometimes. In your case, if soap and water do not work, try Meguiar’s Iron Remover even though it looks like hard water stain rather than iron rust or maybe a Soft Scrub (try this in a small spot first though and do not use abrasive pad, just wet sponge). If those fail, you might have to resort to low-cut polish like Meguiar’s Swirl Remover. Hand polish it first so you have better control unless you’re comfortable going straight to an orbital.

Stopped for lunch under a tree first day of ownership. Bird shit sat on hood all afternoon. Got home and could not buff it out, nuthin worked as it seemed like the acid in poop etched it. BarKeepers friend (soft) took it off without a problem.

Citrisurf and let it sit for 30 minutes if sprayway doesn’t get it. If you use sprayway first, use elbow grease and rub hard with a clean microfiber.

Agree on Citrisurf77. That is Tesla recommended. Spray on, use paper shop towel to wipe the panel (so the effect is even) using pressure over the area as needed, then another paper shop towel sprayed with water to wipe the solution off.

A third paper towel if needed, also damp with water to even it out, catch any further residue.
