Solved a rattle issue

Got my Cybertruck on 11/19 and am totally impressed with it! One item I noticed while driving was there was a rattle coming from the front dashboard area, and rattles drive me crazy. After feeling around a little I noticed it was coming from the plastic around the steering yoke. If you feel around in the bottom there is a "tab" on the part closest to the truck not the wheel and it appeared to have some felt like material on it but could still rattle when going across bumps etc. I added another piece of felt from home depot to it and rattle so far is now gone. Just thought I would share in case others may have same issue.

Yup, I have a piece from a chip bag wedged in there for the same reason.

I just picked up a 49k VIN yesterday and put in a service ticket for the same thing. EVERY bump I heard a rattle sound from the driver door area. But maybe its what are describing. Ill check it out.

I have one near this area but it’s more of a tapping or rubbing noise. I think it’s coming from where the dash meets the side of the door but placed some felt in that area and its been gone for a week or so from what I can tell.

That is precisely where my rattle sound comes from whenever I hit a bump in the road. Ill post a video here shortly

Thanks for finding a video, but that's not exactly what I hear. It sounds like it's more from the Woofer at the driver door.

Mine is also near the woofer in the door. I hear it with some music.

I did have the latch noise described in the video and service said the fix was grease in the latch. Wish I would have seen the video before I took it in.

While we are at it. How about a driver seat creak on the right side lower near the center console?

I have a rattle that is constant at speed. Maybe around 40 mph or more. I only really notice when the music is low. Seems like it’s coming from the front of the dash but I can’t find it.

Rattles and squeaks on a new car drive me nuts.

Drove around with my audio off to hear the rattle from the dash on the left that I’ve been hearing. I noticed another that was coming from the right. Emptied my glove box completely, but still heard it. I sat in the passenger side and noticed a small panel near the mini window. I saw that it was hollow and seemed to be touching another piece of plastic. I’m going to try to put a piece of felt there to prevent any plastic rubbing.
