I used these to mount Christmas lights on my truck. These make it easy to remove the lights when I'm going somewhere and then put back on when at home. I used these larger ones though:

Nice. Thank you. That’s exactly the application I had in mind

Still working on it......replacement washer fluid hose retaining clips for the wiper arm. Tesla, for whatever reason, doesn't have them listed in their EPC.

Super cool. Is that what attaches the hose to the arm ?

I’m intrigued by your process. If it’s not too inconvenient could you please describe or show how you reverse engineer a part into a 3d print?

I don’t consider myself an artist, but I’d imagine it’s similar to an artist looking at a piece of material (ie stone, wood, etc) and carving away the material until they get the overall shape they want. Similarly, I see a rectangular shape, in this case, and just remove or add shapes until I get the overall shape I’m looking for.

Didn’t copy it 100% cause I was thinking about how it’ll print. Like this rounded edge; wanted more surface area on the print bed.

After playing around with a base design, I may teak it a bit more. In this case, I’ve already redesigned with more wrap around the hose so it’ll actually clip onto the hose rather than be a ‘shelf.’ (not pictured) This area doesn’t actually hold the hose….

Current revision goes about 210 degrees around the hose; should be enough to grab the hose. If not, I’ll adjust it again. 😁

You might not, but I would absolutely consider that artistry.

That is awesome.
So why do this? To replace a stock part?
Changing out the wiper and one broke off. Noticed the other 3 were cracked. I think the tolerance on the factory part is too tight and they break right away once installed. Also remembered someone else was looking for them and Tesla doesn’t offer them. So, I thought I’d make ‘em.

Depending on printers and material used, this might be tight too. So I’d recommend scaling the print up to loosen the tolerance. With ABS I find 100% works. With PETG (roll I have is old so it’s probably not good), I scaled it up to 110%.

In light of the thread about shopping around for prices and all the vendors having basically the same products: https://www.cybertruckownersclub.co...t-price-shopping-around-is-your-friend.47761/

I’d like to issue a challenge I hope will make for some entertaining reading.

Show us an accessory we haven’t seen before! Blow our minds. Whatever you like. Big or small.

In other words, if it’s on the usual players websites, it doesn’t belong on this thread.
Let’s keep this a marketing free zone (MFZ).
Sponsors and YouTubers, you’re welcome to comment as CT users but please do marketing and promotion elsewhere.

I’ll start.

I have seen lots of those little center console extension trays everywhere that secure to the wireless charger edges but not one like this temu piece which grabs the whole cup-holder.

How about this one?

long road trips bring spare wiper
Imagine the disaster way off road in the rain
Also an engineering marvel, this 50” wiper could fail

when bring it on a trip need to store in a protective case, think pool stick case

My req are simple, enough room inside and hard case

I’ll be ordering soon, away for now

So, I found this accessory to power my fridge off trucks Trailer Auxiliary power wire where I use the "cig" 12 volt socket port instead of the inverter powered 120 volt outlet which saves a ton of electricity. Charging USB devices is an option now in Vault! Also installed a remote 8 lead switch for spot lights and fog lights along with 12 volt accessories from Frunk power lead. Love how I can control power from touch screen. Attached pics of parts I purchased. Ill install the 12 volt accessory in Frunk that I did in vault probably next week.
