Mine were keyed with a Yakima SKS key A137. I suspect they all use the same lock cylinder.

Mars look awful. The only CT crossbars with proper quick release, easy on/off, and integration/alignment with the CT design ethos are OEM. I have four of them, see no change in range.

But they look like an aftermarket add-on, clearly not within the CT design concept, and most importantly, require tools and hassle for removal. The OEM are on/off in seconds without tools, and clearly are made by the folks who designed the truck.

I purchased 4, and the keys works on both sets, they come in sets of 2, so I am assuming the keys are universal to Tesla. Double check with customer service.

Pretty much so! I came across an old thread of yours asking if they ever go on sale, but seems like that's not the case. I'm still new to this and thought maybe Tesla would have a Cyber Monday sale (fitting right?) but doesn't look like. Anyway I don't need them right away so could wait a few weeks just for peace of mind.

Can always do the Teslaref thing for a 50% discount. Believe it or not that actually works.
sounded pretty scammy to me at first, but I’ll attest that at least in one case that worked and Tesla had no beef with it.

I bought two sets and until I got my rack from Mars I had them on and they’re the only crossbars I would put on my truck. They’re very easy to put on and take off. Quick release is fantastic and I think they look fantastic as well. Highly recommend and I’ve got an UNopened box that I could be convinced to sell you

Luckily I'm easily convinced to buy as well, what kind of number games we talking about?

I have a set and a BourgeRV ski rack for my kiteboarding. I find them easy to put on and take off unlike another model I bought that was made very well but to remove it you had to remove all the screws. Tesla provides mounting plates for all 4 mounts even if you only buy 2 bars so you can move them around at will.

lol, I thought the same! but then I decided to use them only when I needed, I feel like the truck glides withouth them, plus it is a breeze to mount them and unmount them, ONE piece, that's it, and very light.
