What is the cost of the Roadster?

I don't think anyone really knows... but pure speculation here:

$250k "foundation" deposit holders got converted to "thrust" model with no additional deposit. So maybe thrust is planned to be $250k.

Performance slots maybe at $200k like the original price of non-foundation reservations.

Maybe base (no suctions system) slots in at $150k... above the old plaid.

Invites for the flight model asked for $500k deposit.

There's a bunch of AI post that say $500k, but they aren't real.

I'm guessing pricing probably wont' be out until they are just about to produce/release to the public. So my guess is 2028 at the earliest when there is any real pricing from Tesla. Do not be surprised if production is pushed back (Tesla right) to Q1/2 of 2029. If they are on schedule, the earliest they probably would enter production is probably Nov/Dec of 2028 and the model year will likely be a 2029 Tesla Roadster with deliveries probably sometime in calendar year 2029...

My uneducated rough pricing prediction:

Standard/Base - 250k+ (The S Plaid was already at 110k when it was new, for how bespoke and exotic this car is...I don't see them only charging 90k more than the 26 S Plaid, ie I doubt it will be 200k or less than 250k)

There is 0% chance the Base roadster is priced below 200k IMO

Performance - 300k-400k

Thrust - 500k+

Rocket - 1M++
