The Hansshow is a game changer: It has a better night picture than the stock camera, plus you have the option of using it as a trailer camera (with the right accessories).

I note that the GPS antenna is above the mirror, and seems to be sensitive to interference. My truck complained a couple of times about degraded GPS performance, so I moved all wiring away from the antenna and it seems good now.

Final note: the bolt (machine screw) that holds the mirror is a T20 head M4x20 pilot/dog/extended point. Mine has taken a bit of a beating after a couple of installs/removals. I thought I could just go on the Internet and pick up more. Alas, I have not been able to find them -- any assistance welcome. A regular M4x20 (no pilot point) will work, but the pilot point makes installation much easier with less risk of cross-threading. I am guessing a new mirror from Tesla would include one as a last resort.

When I looked last week, you could only get the bolt as part of the mirror assembly.

Note sure what you mean by above the mirror. Are you thinking this purple rectangle board?

Each person has their own needs and requirements. You are entitled to yours but I am not convinced that you are entitled to criticize those of others.

I guessed that the GPS antenna was the source of the interference (the metal disk shown here):

I tried to make sure the wires, and especially the main power, were as far away from the disk as possible.
