The soft material are easy to tear. I had a little tear on the door sill area after few weeks owning.

While Cybertruck have nice premium material, however as a truck, I think the hard rugged plastics used in Toyota, Ford trucks are better long term.
Yeah. Not too durable but easily replaceable

Any solutions to prevent further damage of the cheap interior panel?! (Other than a GLP1)

Agh, just looked at mine. Never noticed before. I love the seat all the way back, but now I definitely need to lose some weight 😀

I can’t see how the seatbelt slap causes the gashes-? Maybe when I shut the door? Anyhow- it needs some kind of armor. Probably will have to do duck tape until I buy the piece new. My bad- I should have put plastic covers on the furniture before sitting on it.

I remember seeing those in some houses when I grew up. Thankfully, never in mine.

Does anyone know if there are decent neoprene seat covers available for the Cybertruck? I used to use them in my old Miata and they were easy enough to throw on when conditions required and take off when you wanted the car to look nice.

Not at most of my family’s homes but lots of neighbors had these. Sitting on this was a literal nightmare instant sweat and stickiness.

Playing outside until the street lights came on wasn’t that hard of a choice when inside was mostly this, shag carpet, naugahyde and cigarette smoke. I guess in fairness to today’s kids it did get a little bit harder when ColecoVision came along.

I can see that. Different times. I used to get on my bike at about 0700 every morning and then my parents had no idea where the fuck I was until I was supposed to be home in the late afternoon.
I can’t even imagine that level of loose with my kids.

I grew up in the 60s. Not many houses near me had that but a couple did and it horrified me then. I actually forgot about it but that photo brought back a nauseating feeling.

Many people start new with seat covers

Those will block the middle airbag that comes out of the seat. Could even cause it to deploy in a strange way pushing you harder "into the crash"

You might be too tall, but I would set the easy entry position farther up, so you don't slide against the panel as you get in. Then it'll reposition your seat to the driving position once you "start" the truck.
