Considering ordering (well, re-ordering after canceling my order earlier this year) to take advantage of the 2.49% financing offer.

What are the predictions for end of year incentives? Free supercharging, free cyber wheel upgrade? Those were inventory incentives earlier this summer. But there are currently no inventory vehicles available in my area, so the website is estimating 3-5 week delivery time.

tesla deals are notoriously volatile. you really just have to check frequently close to the time you might be able to afford the purchase. if youre not close to being ready, dont check. and as soon as you take delivery stop checking.

you might take this 2.49% and then months later they might offer 0%.

if you do a lot of road tripping or cant charge at home, then definitely wait for free supercharging.

I placed my reservation soon after launch. the deadline for my purchase was when my daughter got her license (this year). during that time i started aggressively saving. by the time this year rolled around, I had enough saved for a full cash purchase, so then I started playing the incentive game and they hit us with 0% apr which was for my situation (not much roadtripping already have a home charger) was all I needed.

I paid the lowest down payment to meet the 0% and now the rest of the bucket of money is being invested so I might even make money after all is said and done!

At this time, there's really no way to predict. End-of-year incentives depend on 4Q sales -- and this year, 4Q sales are a huge question mark, because it will be the first quarter following the loss of the $7,500 tax credit. Everyone in the EV industry is bracing for a sales hit, but no one knows how bad it's going to be.

If you could ask Elon Musk himself about end-of-year incentives, he would probably say: "Who knows? We'll look at the sales numbers in late November"

With a 12% ROI, you'll just about double your money about the time the 60 month loan is paid off. Depending on your age, and life situation, look into a Mega backdoor roth for small business owners could be an awesome tax free way to grow that bag.

Fair enough. The Tesla rep did say that while waiting for delivery (estimated 3-5 weeks), if another incentive pops up it can be added to my order prior to delivery.

Yes to home charging, and road trips are rare. So the only incentive I'd really want is 0% again or perhaps free cyber wheel upgrade (however that was historically with lease deals only). Unless Tesla offers lifetime supercharging like with the Luxe package, but I think that is unlikely for the cybertruck AWD.

even at 2.49%, the total interest over the loan is $4500 with my current vehicle trade in equity. So not terrible, but also not $0 interest w/ 0%.

2.49% is good but do I wait for better incentives to return?
Wish I could have afforded the purchase several months ago when they had 0% financing AND the federal tax credit.

They'll probably be better incentives end of Q4. Only mystery is whether they add luxe to AWD or not. End of Q3 could be lowest in a while but who knows.

It's a crapshoot.

The end of the month will begin year 3 of Cybertruck manufacturing. I think Tesla is very close to 2026 VIN production.

Only a few Tesla insiders know what incentives are in store for the 2026 model year Cybertruck. It all depends on the inter web CT orders coming into the system. If down they pull the demand lever and offer purchase/lease incentives such as 0% financing, low monthly lease pricing, free supercharging, etc. I understand CT production has slowed significantly.

For 2026 will may see a more affordable "Standard" AWD trim similar to the 3 and Y. Also, maybe a "Luxe" model similar to the X and S.

Incentives are most likely if the order rate (demand) is low relative to the production rate (supply). However, we know that Tesla started scaling back on production in 3Q 2025, apparently in anticipation of low demand in 4Q 2025.

Tesla doesn't release numbers for the Cybertruck specifically, but 3Q 2025 production of "Other Models" (Model S, Model X, Cybertruck) combined was only 11,624 units. That's the lowest such number in years -- for example, the 3Q 2024 production was 26,128 units.

So demand is probably low right now -- but supply is probably also low. If supply and demand are already balanced, it means that Tesla is less likely to offer incentives.

I think Tesla may have finally cleared out the excess CT inventory that was sitting around the country.

Inventory within 200 miles of me shows one $73,490 RWD trim w/Cyber wheels and a bunch of demo Cyberbeast‘s. Zero AWD trims are available.

Wow. I don't see any new AWDs anywhere in California. Can only find some demo AWDs in the Bay Area and Sacramento area, starting at $76,510. So CTs are not piling up in inventory, at least not in California.

Furthermore, I'm see delivery times of 3-5 weeks for new orders in California. If it takes weeks to get a new order, this implies that demand is currently higher than the available supply.

So based on current conditions in California -- both inventory and delivery times -- there doesn't seem to be much need for incentives.

But….

Always buy used, it’s paying yourself and not Tesla.

Once you drive a new car off the lot it’s worth 2/3 value you paid/financed.

Upside down is never good!

The lease deal is pretty amazing. I think they include a $6500 lease incentive, which is close to matching the old $7500 federal tax credit.

Tesla Cybertruck Order now at 2.49% or wait for better incentives? 1762643873474-wq

Look at the residual value in 3yrs, $55,750. That's 70% of the original MSRP. Who's getting 70% after 3yrs?

Bottom line, this is a heavily subvented lease deal that I would jump at if I didn't already own a CT! Just look at how much the Cyberbeast lease costs! That's a normal lease deal for a $100k+ vehicle.

Leases don’t work well for those of us who live in BFE. I’ve owned my CT for 5 weeks and have 5,000 miles on it.

i did get 0.9% on the last day of the rebate.

Whats up guys! Just ordered the Cybertruck AWD on 11/4. Ended up doing the lease w/ $699 a month right just before they increased it the next day. When I ordered it online, it was showing 3-5 weeks delivery but no actual date is showing up in the app yet.

Anybody else ordered this past week? Really excited to get this truck!
