yeah there are a couple of us over at the order thread

https://www.cybertruckownersclub.com/forum/threads/📊-cybertruck-submitted-orders-tracking-list-stats-add-yours.10421/

who have ordered recently. i placed an order on 30 october for an AWD with the cyber wheels and dark interior. was able to transfer FSD from my current vehicle too, which pushed me over. i did a 2 year lease. the lease price with fsd transfer and the 6K incentive option was too hot to not take advantage of. now i wait for an ETA.. thus far i have the "we will let you know when we get an eta" message... and yes 3-5 weeks for me as well.

post over at the thread i linked above and keep us company as we all wait for our VINs..
thank you! Posting now over there

Considering ordering (well, re-ordering after canceling my order earlier this year) to take advantage of the 2.49% financing offer.

What are the predictions for end of year incentives? Free supercharging, free cyber wheel upgrade? Those were inventory incentives earlier this summer. But there are currently no inventory vehicles available in my area, so the website is estimating 3-5 week delivery time.
Update: The end of the year is in sight, and Tesla is now offering some significant incentives on the Model 3 and Model Y, but not on the Cybertruck. In fact, Cybertruck financing is now at 3.99%, which is higher than the 2.49% that was offered in October when this thread started.

Model 3 and Model Y both get free option upgrades when ordered from inventory. Both 3/Y get 0% down lease deals. The Model Y Standard gets 0% financing; other 3/Y trims get 2.99% financing. So it seems like Tesla is making some aggressive moves to reduce 3/Y inventory.

In contrast, Tesla hasn't offered any significant end-of-year deals on the Model S, Model X, or Cybertruck, at least not yet. The Cyber Wheel upgrade is theoretically still available if you lease a CTs from inventory, and some new inventory CTs are slightly discounted. However, inventory seems to be limited in many areas right now, so you may not be able to take advantage. For example, there are currently no AWD CTs listed in inventory anywhere in northern or southern California.

Makes you wonder what the future of S/X/CT are given the lack of sales push to increase delivery numbers on the higher end side of products. I think last 2 weeks of Q4 will see 0% financing for 3/Y premium models. There are already $1-$2k inventory discounts on 3/Y premium inventory units.

Cybertruck refresh could occur soon, with upgraded pack chemistry or cells.

Six years ago, in the 3Q 2019 earnings call, Elon was asked about the future of the S/X:
Question: I was wondering how your thinking has evolved on Model S and Model X. It looks like the deliveries have stayed to the deliveries of the previous quarter and that Model 3 has indeed cannibalized the demand for these cars, quite a big deal. So how are you thinking about these two models going forward? What's the strategy you have in mind?

Elon Musk: The Model S and X are really niche -- they're really niche products. I mean, they're very expensive, made in low volume. To be totally frank, we're continuing to make them more for sentimental reasons than anything else. They're really of minor importance to the future.
In 3Q 2019, the combined total of Model S and Model X deliveries was 17,400.

Fast forward six years, to 3Q 2025 -- a very strong sales quarter. The combined total of Model S, Model X, and Cybertruck deliveries was 15,933. So even lower than the "really niche" levels of 3Q 2019.

In 3Q 2025, combined deliveries of the 3/Y were 481,166. So globally, the 3/Y (combined) outsold the S/X/CT (combined) by more than 30 to 1. Maybe it's not surprising that Tesla is focusing on 3/Y incentives.

I predict the CT will be receiving new battery cells/chemistry sometime in 2026.

The lease deal is pretty amazing.

Unfortunately, the Cybertruck order page now indicates that the "pretty amazing" $729/month lease deal is going away on December 26.

Tesla Cybertruck Order now at 2.49% or wait for better incentives? ctlaes

According to Sawyer Merritt, AWD leases will then jump to $849/month (with $5,000 down payment as before).

So no end-of-year leasing incentive, other than "order now before we raise the price".

Tesla what about that assist to get legislation changed to Lease and or low APRs in those states that it is not allowed? 🚫

Sitting on the sidelines is not cool 😵💫🧐🙃

We can now purchase a new Tesla in my state outright with own financing but still unable to finance or lease through Tesla.

Get this corrected! Old data example, as of now only five or six states still do not allow.

From the Cybertruck order page:

So it looks like Tesla leasing is available in 46 states plus DC. The four missing states appear to be Arkansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Wisconsin.

Yep! Lucky enough to live in one of those four.

Would have e leased or financed years ago but Tesla evidently doesn’t want those state’s business.

More likely these states are blocking Tesla from leasing/financing than Tesla not wanting their business.

Yes and no, Tesla has spent billions since 2015 lobbying in legislation to get states to play along but these four states are not worth the trouble or money. Sad but true to Teslas bottom line.

You are correct though, only four states remain out of all this red in 2015.

The exact numbers probably vary, depending on whether you are talking about sales or leasing or financing. Leasing is possible in all but four states, but the numbers could be different for sales or financing.

There are still 10 states where Telsa has zero stores/galleries: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Kansas, Maine, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming.

In some cases, the absence of Tesla stores is due to state law. Such states would also restrict other manufacturers that use the direct-to-consumer model, like Rivian or Lucid.

In other cases, Tesla apparently just doesn't see a market. For example, Wyoming changed its state laws years ago to allow direct-to-consumer auto sales, with Tesla specifically in mind. Yet Tesla has still not opened any stores or service centers in Wyoming.

Yes, the $729/mo lease is the end-of-year incentive deal. Honestly, not sure what more people want. That's an insane offer.

Maybe they were hoping for $699/mo, like in October:
Tesla dropped the lease from $749 to $699 For a limited time only (a 7% drop). I think we all saw this coming now that the $7500 tax rebate is history

The difference between a $729/mo lease and the $699/mo lease is basically the difference between the $7500 Federal tax credit and the $6500 Tesla discount, $1000. $1000 over 36 months is about $30. If they keep waiting, the $6500 Tesla discount is going away, in a couple weeks.
