So I have three different puddle lights I’ve acquired . @RPM TESLA's which are fantastic if you just want color, Tesla’s OEM triangles and now a set of Cybertruck logo ones I won from the Tesstudio competition. Thank you Kai.

All of them were a very easy install. One hopefully useful tip I have is that if you take out the covers for the emergency releases in the back doors, you’re looking straight down at the light and can push it out which is much easier than prying it out on your back. It’s also a nice view for making sure the new one seats nicely.
Thought I’d post a picture comparing the oem Tesla ones to these aftermarket projector one’s because the result was surprising to me.

I’ve always thought of the Tesla ones as crisp white light but when you put it next to the aftermarket one the color temp is actually a bit warmer and leans to the orange whereas the aftermarket ones, at least these ones are kind of more purplish hue and cooler.

In terms of brightness they are very similar. Barely perceptible during the day and clear but not overwhelming at night.

I don’t love them side by side so I’m going back to the drawing board on what to do. I think I’ll probably return to the rpm Tesla color changing ones because they are my favorite of the three and see if I can’t install these in some clever way in the cabin. Maybe under the front seats and glovebox to light on the back and passenger mats if I can figure out how to do that. Not sure.

Hope these pics are useful to someone out there.

Thanks for the mention, and also, our RGB light change brightness via the remote as well as on the screen with the brightness.
No problem. Just sharing what I genuinely think is a great and simple product at a good price compared to all the other options.
Is the underglow set available for the Cybertruck yet? Intrigued by that. Also seems fairly priced for what you get.

I actually think the aftermarket ones look better, which is surprising because I didn't think I'd like the CT logo one.
Underglow kit you say??? Tell us more...... I have underglow on my motorcycle and I love it, I think it would look amazing on our trucks. Maybe if they even found a way to add the color strips to the bed lights, that would be bad ass - it would be like a party back there.

Haven’t seen it in person but I’m sure Mark from @RPM TESLA can tell us more.

Correction. It does look like the underglow version two is for sale now. I just saw the “coming soon” picture and thought otherwise.
Sorry for the misinformation.

. @TeslaKen has someone who makes him entirely custom puddle lights that are very cool looking.and I’m pretty sure he’s tried a bunch of these too so he’d probably be a good resource for comparing.

I have tried many puddle lights on my 3 and a few on my Cybertruck over the years. Most work just fine and most are brighter than stock, so hard to go wrong no matter what you choose. That being said, I've had some that had multiple failures from the same supplier listed here previously but those were in the early days of the Model 3 so I would hope they had those issues ironed out a long time ago. I cannot ever see switching away from my custom puddle lights - Custom Puddle Lights by CustomPuddleLights.com - because I designed them, they turned out great, and they are super bright. I guess they aren't animated with a 2nd logo but something like that probably isn't far off.

I have seen some images come out more clearly than others when I have looked at puddle lights that others have installed but I didn't keep track of which supplier which puddle light was from. I would hope that if a light isn't to your liking that the supplier would take it back or send you an updated one with a better image. It would be interesting to get lights from different manufacturers and compare them but I'm not sure how useful that would be because for some brightness is king for others it is the image an/or clarity of the image and still others may want completely custom or animation of 2 different images. Other than raw brightness in lumens I'm not sure how effective a comparison would be. For example, my Abstract Ocean ultra bright puddle lights (no image just a light) are about the brightest I have seen for a Model 3, yet my Master Chief image from Custom Puddle Lights is as bright wherever the image is shown, thus the number of LEDs in a light fixture may not tell the whole story if lens and/or reflectors are used for more brightness or clarity. Like I said, I think the comparison would be interesting for sure, but I'm not sure you are going to be able to get all of the suppliers to participate in such a comparison unless you are very clear on the judging criteria ahead of time.

I'm not saying any supplier here is unscrupulous, but I have seen exhaust manufacturers create one-off units for online tests that are different from the units sold to the public. How do you police that for a puddle light test without simply buying units yourself to test?

Just some random thoughts on the subject...
