How long for official plates to arrive from the DMV?

Hi all, I'm at just over 2 weeks now (15-16 days) without receiving permanent license plates in the mail. Do I need to check with anybody at Tesla or the DMV or what are the times people are looking at for getting them?

I do finance. The plate mailed from Tesla Sunnyvale (which I picked my Cybertruck) after a month.

I just got my DMV Title certificate and it shows that the plates are commercial plates. I don't have a business and didn't specify commercial plates. Did anyone get regular plates (not personalized) for their truck or is everyone being issued commercial plates?

The registration says commercial due to the weight of the truck. The plates are normal. Mine arrived after about a month.

all pickups are considered commercial by california apparently

Georgia's temp plates are for 2 months. At least the DMV understands how slow the process works.

I requested my speciality plates one week I got my cybertruck (Texas). After 3 weeks I received a confirmation from DMV that my speciality plates are ready to be picked up, but I have bring my "current license plates", which I don't know where those are (expected to receive those via mail). Crazy.

In Georgia, I can't get any specialized plates until it has basic plates.

Mine took exactly 3 months.

Ours came in 32 days from pickup of the CT... (Calif.) still haven't made up our mind on our custom plates though...

Picked up my CT Nov 6 2024, Austin Texas and still have not received plates or title. Paper tag expired.. Called CS and supposed to send me another temp tag. Been 8 weeks.
