Has anyone RECEIVED a 2026 CT?

My spidy senses tell me that Tesla is updating the Cybertruck battery cell behind the scenes. It’s been reported that Tesla will introduce 4 new battery cells in 2026.

I really hope you're right. I have held out until now hoping mainly for a battery improvement, but also I would much rather wait a few months longer for delivery than get a quick delivery and they switch to a better battery 1 month later.

I wonder if they were doing battery update; why when I ordered Jan 13th it said only 5 to 8 weeks for delivery. If you order today it says only 3 to 5 weeks. Unless Tesla is just BSing buyers with fake timelines.

Perhaps this could be another reason for the delay, although I’m less confident in this one. I would expect they would prioritize model 3 and Y for this but not CT.

Ordered mine on 1/23. Original reservation holder from 2022, finally decided to order.

AWD, Tactical Grey, Cyber Wheels. Rep on the phone said that they're looking at 3-5 weeks right now but he couldn't tell me if the "delivery priority" from my preorder would help or not.
Honestly I don't care if it takes a few weeks. I'm just unbelievably excited.

Ordered mine Jan 20th. Cyberbeast, 20“ Core Wheels, Tactical Grey, Terrestrial Armor Package. I received a VIN a couple of days ago and it says my vehicle is currently in production.

I asked what my estimated delivery window looked like to make a decision about my trade in and I was told January 31st - February 13th via the chat. VIN is 905XX.


I also reserved a couple of days after announcement, but when the vehicle was released with significantly less range, and one of my primary use cases being towing, I decided to wait. I’m finally fed up enough with gas that I was willing to take delivery regardless. I’m still hopeful of a longer range option for towing down the road.

I actually cancelled my original reservation and put a new one in.

I’m curious if there is somethings similar in the configuration choices for those that are delayed.

Oh that's good news that they are actively producing. Confused though as some have ordered in Nov/Dec and still don't have any movement on their Beast orders.

Mine is a 1/14 order AWD without underbody protection, base wheels, black interior, no upgrades or mods. I chose full price FSD but that shouldn’t make any difference at all for production timing.
No estimate at all, no vin. Day 1 reservation doesn’t seem to matter at all.
